The town was small and restful.
Pros:

The facility was very clean. The staff was friendly and respectful. Staff responded to any request immediately. The atmosphere was pleasant.

Cons:

The housekeeping hours were earlier (before 11:00 am), so we had to be out of the room by then. No breakfast served, only donuts. On the main highway making it very noisey.

Was surprised at how traffic noise was so loud it seemed as though windows were wide open. Slept well until traffic rest

Historic, clean, comfortable bed, nice mtn view

Cons:

Noisy road (need better windows & insulation in walls facing road). Bathroom fan ridiculously noisy and broken sounding.

Pros:

Value for money stay for snow shoe around Carson Pass. The hotel is centrally located with the small town.

Cons:

Door doesn't self lock. You have to turn the knob to the lock position, step outside the room and close the door behind you.
