Friendly staff, great rooftop views, stylish and comfortable rooms
A little bit noisy at night due to location

The hotel is in need of some updating; however, the new owner advised us that renovations are currently in progress. It is also worth noting that access to the pool requires climbing 110 steps, which was not disclosed beforehand.

There were bed bugs, i got bit a few times unfortunately.

Note on location: I was initially apprehensive about walking into town as it’s a bit tucked away up a quiet street - however it was actually fine for walking to the beach / bars. No problems
I was a little disappointed the pool bar wasn’t open at any point during my stay - I imagine because of the wet weather. I was hoping to enjoy a caipirinha with the most amazing views the property has to offer.
Other improvements I could suggest are to ensure bottled water is replenished every day, as well as the nespresso capsules

Le personnel est adorable, très attentif, et présent. La responsable des lieux, Chelsea, est un vrai rayon de soleil ;)
La décoration de l'hôtel est faite avec goût, et la terrasse avec la piscine et le bar offrent une vue splendide et incomparable ! La terrasse de notre chambre face au levé de soleil nous laissera un souvenir inoubliable, tout comme la gentillesse des personnes qui gèrent ce lieu. L'hotel est une oasis au milieu de la ville, où seul le bruit des oiseaux et le calme sont présents.

La posizione, a parte la vista è infelice. La colazione molto poco variegata e con prodotti non sempre freschissimi. Il giorno prima del mio arrivo, ho chiesto tramite booking un'eccezione per la cancellazione della prenotazione o la sua modifica a causa del volo cancellato per sciopero nazionale. La struttura ha negato la richiesta e, dopo varie concessioni e 20 h di viaggio sono arrivato ugualmente, per evitare di perdere l'intero importo. Sebbene sapessero che sarei arrivato presto e che avevo espresso il desiderio di fare una doccia, ho aspettato per oltre un'ora in reception e non mi è stato offerto neanche un bicchiere d'acqua dalla persona alla reception che, non è stata per nulla piacevole nei modi
L’hôtel est dans une ancienne maison très belle, entouré d’un magnifique jardin, tout est très beau. Le personnel est adorable! Il ya une magnifique vue de la terrasse avec piscine et bar! La literie est très confortable et tout est parfaitement propre. L’hôtel est situé en hauteur donc assez calme (mais ça monte un peu il faut le savoir)
Les chambres mériteraient un petit coup de jeune. (Fenêtre avec un peu plus d’isolation du bruit) Le petit déjeuner est moyen.
Le design de l'hôtel, son agencement et son confort étaient top. Sans parler du toit terrasse/piscine exceptionnel ! Les chambres supérieures étaient très agréables et fonctionnelles, avec du cachet. Je tiens tout particulièrement à souligner la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel. Adorable ! Quant à l'emplacement géographique de l'hôtel, au pied de la favela, cela ne nous a posé aucune souci. Un charme fou !
Bien que très confortables et agréables, les chambres mériteraient un petit coup de fraîcheur, notamment la salle de bains.
Petit bémol : le petit déjeuner. Pas du tout à la hauteur de la prestation : gâteau semi-industriel, confiture bas de gamme, peu de choix....
Osoblje, lokacija, uslužnost.....osjećao sam se kao kod kuće. Divno iskustvo. Uredno i ćisto. No, osoblje je bilo za svaku pohvalu uvijek na raspolaganju. Ponovno bi bookitrao.

The breakfast was great! Having Breakfast in the little courtyard was the best start to the day. The location was on a small street about 3 minutes' walk to one of the most central spots in Ipanema. If you like coffee, there is a place that sells Australian-style coffee just around the corner. The rooftop pool, the cute courtyard, and the staff. All top class.
I had a beautiful stay in the RARO, great location, amazing view from the room, nice rooftop with swimming pool and bar, big confy room, friendly staff and very nice decoration.
Theres nothing I didn't like apart the fact that I had to leave at some point !
