Fantastic hotel, very comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff welcoming and helpful.
Five minutes from ferry terminal too.

With the exception of one young lady who helped check us in, the rest of the staff was unwilling to help us because they did not speak English. They did not attempt to help & it was obvious by the way they helped other customers who spoke French. My husband spoke limited French but he was quickly dismissed as we were a nuisance to them for not speaking their language.

The cleanliness of this hotel was superb and the staff extremely helpful and all were infinitely polite. The breakfast was delicious and such a varied selection to suit all tastes. The services on offer and the facilities were easy to navigate and it’s in a prime location.

We stayed here about 8 years ago and always knew we wanted to cone back. The salt water pool is great, you feel so nice after you come out, but it does get busy as they have classes (aquagym/water aerobics) that I think a lot of local people go to who I assume are spa members, as it's not just a hotel. Most of the people who stay there are French (at least when I have been there) so it's not overrun by Brits and you feel you are actually away from home. I need to learn some French for my next stay! The location is great as there is the veach, of course which is lovely and best on sunny days. It also has tge historic d-day connection and driving distance to the main memorial and cemetery. There are some kids attractions (might be summer opening only) and a small park. Several restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Excellent séjour. L'accueil et le service sont remarquables, tout comme le cadre et le calme de l'hôtel. Le restaurant est lui aussi de très bon niveau.

Bed really uncomfortable ... not hit water first thing in the morning for two days -- really poor

Location is also very good and if you ask for sea views a very nice view from the hotel windows.

A l’arrivée la chambre était prête à 11h ce qui était très plaisant et le dimanche j’avais oublié des effets dans la chambre après avoir rendu les clefs et le réceptionniste a recupere mes effets dont des éléments dont je me souvenais pas. Excellent service. Je n’ai pas pu profiter d’un soin car j’étais seul avec mes deux enfants mais je tenterais la prochaine fois.

The hotel itself is amazing, very clean and the staff are perfect, and the swimming pool and spa were lovely. It's an easy walk into the main high street, right on the beach and we absolutely loved the hotel itself.

If you are staying and want treatments I would suggest booking them before you get there because it gets pretty busy and it meant we were limited in what we could have in the week we stayed.

Our only complaint was the paid 'add ons' which were terrible. We had a meal in the restaurant which very expensive and absolutely awful (dried meat on dried lentils and hardly any gravy!).

In relation to the treatment options we had two massages which I can only describe as being 'stroked'. During the second one I was actually considering just leaving half way through but didn't want to be impolite! They offer things like hot stones and 'sand bags' but to be honest these seemed just a bit gimmicky and they didn't use them effectively. That said the body wraps and scrubs were amazing.

In short, the hotel is awesome and I cannot recommend it enough. But if you are going to use the treatments in the spa it's defiantly not something I would recommend.

Comme toujours, c’est un plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel. En revanche, l’accueil pour la réservation des soins pourrait gagner un tout petit plus en efficacité

God base for vores besøg i Normandiet for at opleve D-Dag begivenhederne.
Hotellet er fint med gode små værelser, meget lille badeværelse og en spa, der desværre ikke er særlig interessant.
Restauranten er ikke god, men morgenmaden dog rigtig fin. Gode parkeringsforhold.

Très bon séjour. Les équipements sont vraiment top ! La chambre très propre mais les toilettes sont vraiment exigus
