There was a restaurant at the hotel, but there was nothing anywhere to say whether it was open or not. The carpets inside were quite tatty and the stairs up to the rooms were a bit worse for wear and bouncy!! It was clean and the beds were fine and given that we were from the area, we weren't expecting much anyway.

L'emplacement était parfait, juste à côté de la gare. Nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée au Glenroy Bar qui est juste en dessous de l'hôtel. Très très sympathique
The hotel in a good position and the adjacent restaurant is quite nice as well. Overall we had a good stay and ate good food too :)
One of our beds was terribly uncomfortable. It felt like sleeping directly on hard springs, they really poked out. A mattress topper or something to make that bed less uncomfortable would be a good idea.
Staff were friendly and all facilities worked
Nitpicking the appearance could’ve been a bit better
Wasn't available
The room smelled of piss, and it frightened me
Being unexpectedly charged £60, in case you damage the place, with no option but to pay it is in bad taste and is problem a signal of the place itself…
The room was not clean, it was smelly. This whole hotel needs a renovation
Great location
Room was clean
Shower was cold, only one blanket for two people. Bed was very small.
When I left to go to a premier inn
The room was uncomfortably hot, and there was a nightclub directly below that was already playing loud music from as early as 16:30. I was unable to open the window to cool the room, as it would have made my room easily accessible from outside.
The room itself, as well as the bar and stairwell areas, were poorly maintained. It was also evident that the door had previously been forced open, as there was a large crack around the area where the key latch secured to the wall.
As a solo traveller, I did not feel safe staying here, so I chose to leave and check in to a Premier Inn instead. Unfortunately, this meant cutting my trip short and losing my money, as the booking fell within the 12-hour cancellation window
Rien
The hotel was filthy and shabby and the shower tray had black mold the toilet had a bit of poo stuck to it hadn’t really been cleaned . The receptionist told us they had had trouble there so they decided to ad 60£ and you would hopefully get it back after the clear had supposedly cleaned your room . Needs a lot of work very sad
The stay was good nice pub down the stairs and friendly and knowledgeable on the area staff over all a good stay
The floor in the room could have been cleaned a little better as there was a spillage of juice on the floor from the previous person which our shoes stuck to when we entered. No option for breakfast as the food hall didn't open till 12
Central location in Balloch near train station but this hotel is actually part of a pub. There was a live band playing downstairs and the hotel section is very sad and neglected.
There was no one at reception. The room smelt stale and musty. The carpet was worn and dirty. But the biggest issue was noise outside until 3am despite having been told that the bar closed at 1am.
Bit slow at the reception and loud guests from the cafe downstairs but otherwise very pleasant
Rooms are ok and good location
Lobby is dated no breakfast
