Lomond Park Hotel

It was unclean, smelt bad, the shower leaked constantly, the decor was poor and it felt unsafe. The noise from the bar downstairs was awful.

Not what was advertised on Bookind.com. Flooring was broken, staff were drinking beer where customers entered, door would not lock properly you needed a wee trick to lock it. Disgusted this facility is on Bookings.

When we arrived, the receptionist told us that there would be a Karoake that night, there was no appology about the noise which went on until 1200.

La entrada al hotel es como por detras del restaurante, huele mucho a tabaco y de primeras las pintas no son las mas apetecibles. La habitación que nos tocó estaba correcta lo que eramos 3 y la cama era muy justa e incomoda para dormir dos personas.

Basic, old and not so clean room. One shower and two toiletes for all floor. In the morning there was no toilete paper. The bathroom was dirty.

Quite astonishing to find a hotel that was so lacking. The owners clearly don't care about delivering a good service. . Everything about it was wrong. I can't think of anything positive to say, sadly.

The hotel is in a convenient location, but the rooms are quite old and dated. The level of cleanliness was below our expectations, and the room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. The beds were also uncomfortable, which affected our sleep. The hotel would benefit from room refurbishment, improved housekeeping, and better-quality mattresses.

Non capisco come un cesso di valutando si possa trovare su Booking. Terribile sporco arredamenti come mangiatoie di animali. Lavabo tutto rotto. Lenzuola gialle. Praticamente ho dormito sulla sedia. E chiedono anche 70 € di cauzione nel caso rompi qualcosa. Indescrivibile. Sto valutando di uscire da Booking.

Amidst the beauty of Loch Lomond lies a godforsaken hole they call the "Lomond Park Hotel". It once was a hotel, perhaps, but today it bears a resemblance to a haunted crime scene no soul wants to investigate.
​As soon as you open the back door (because there is no front door — the reception is located right next to the kitchen), you catch a whiff of decades-old dust, smoke, and vomit absorbed by the carefully stained carpets. Hey, but at least the carpet is red! You are a very special guest.
​At the reception, you are first greeted by a welcoming, AI-generated poster of a Scottish breakfast — making you unsure why the kitchen is even needed. The receptionist will then inform you that you must pay a £20 deposit for potential damages. Pure comedy.
​Then, you are headed to Room 14, if you are lucky. Someone must have been very eager to get in there before, because it is clear that the door was forced open in the past. It would require detective work to figure out exactly what transpired next, but I found several important clues:
​Walls stained with an unknown brown substance; A bloodied mattress with traces of urine;
​Bloodied curtains and windows;
​Cracked (potentially punched) walls and sink;
​A shared shower covered in mold.
​Upon informing the receptionist that we were leaving, they asked us what it was that we expected. Seriously.
​No refund was provided, apart from that £20 damage deposit. The only thing that could be damaged any further is my mental health. There is no way this place can pass any sort of inspection, but it sure does call for a full-on investigation. False advertisement.

Misschien had de gedeelde douche nog wat schoner kunnen zijn. Verder was de kamer wel super netjes en schoon.

Not very clean, smelly

Auf meine Beschwerdemail an Booking.com am 30.05.2026 mit der Forderung, eine Rückerstattung zu erhalten, wurde bis heute nicht reagiert. Für 72 Pfund ohne Frühstück eine dreckige, laute und unverschämte Unterkunft bekommen. Falsche und ungenügende Informationen zur Unterkunft auf Booking.com. Erst im Hotel wird mit Hinweisen an der Wand an der Rezeption und auf dem Zimmer auf die Laufstärke und der lauten Bar hingewiesen. Auf Anfrage werden Earplugs (Gehörschutz) ausgehändigt. Diese nutzten nichts, da sich mein Zimmer genau über der Bar im 1. Obergeschoss befand. Laute Partygäste im Nebenzimmer. Beim Einchecken hatte man mir versprochen, ein leises Zimmer nach hinten zu bekommen. Fehlanzeige. Auf Nachfrage, das Zimmer zu wechseln, hat man behauptet, ausgebucht zu sein. Das stimmte nicht. Es waren kaum Gäste zur Übernachtung da. Im Gespräch mit Kelly um 1 h nachts, der Barbetreiberin, die äußerst abweisend reagierte, war kein Kompromiss zu finden. Die Ausstattung ist miserabel, die Gemeinschaftsbäder besitzen keine Steckdosen, der Spiegel im Zimmer ist auf dem Waschbecken aufgesetzt (Achtung Unfallgefahr) und nicht an der Wand befestigt, die Vorhänge sind eine Katastrophe, der Schrank hat keine Türen, Regale sind schmutzig, der Fußboden ist schmutzig, im Flur der Teppichboden extrem schmutzig, auf der Toilette nicht ausreichend Toilettenpapier. Laute und dreckige Bar im Erdgeschoss, unfreundliche Mitarbeiter im Restaurant. Der einzige nette Mensch war der junge Mann Lamb an der Rezeption, dem ich zur Abreise früh morgens am 31.05.2026. die Zimmerschlüssel übergeben habe. Die allergrößte Unverschämtheit ist, dass ein Pfand von 35 Pfund für Schlüssel und Schäden erhoben wird. Man müsste bevor das Zimmer bezogen wird, auf alle bereits vorhandene Schäden hinweisen. Mehr Schäden kann man selbst gar nicht verursachen. Jede Jugendherberge und Hostel ist im Zustand besser, als dieses Drecksloch. Keine Empfehlung, besser dort nicht übernachten. Ist kein Geld wert.
