The worst experience.
I had booked the hotel but due to unforeseen circumstance, I had to change my reservation dates. I reached out to hotels.com for the same & they requested the hotel for the date change, but no response. I called the hotel myself and spoke to the reservation supervisor and after hearing my request, he asked me to call / connect with Hotels.com and ask them to send an email to the hotel and he assured me that once he received an email from hotels.com he shall amend my reservation. Hence; I again connected with hotels.com and informed the support team about the same and requested them to send an email to the hotel as per the supervisor's request. Hotels.com then sends me an email saying that my request has not been considered.
Now either the hotel property is unethical and liars or hotel.com and the support team didn’t put up the amendment request through.
Either ways, I lost a lot of money and it’s disheartening.
This was supposed to be a 5* hotel. The room we were initially given was dirty and smelly. We asked them to change it. After 3 attempts at showing us different rooms, we were eventually given a clean room and the furniture in it was also clean. The staff were friendly and to be fair they were actually in the middle of renovations. It worked out for us in the end.
Very poorly managed. Rooms were stinky, towels were missing.
Except for the manager, the staff was rude and not trained.
Restaurant service was pathetic.
