There will be a GBP 25 charge per dog per stay. A maximum of 1 dog per room permitted.
Please be aware that the swimming pool is lane swimming only so children must be over 12 years old to use the pool and be able to swim at least 50m
Our pool will be closed for maintenance from 7th August to 11th August 2023.
MINORS younger than 18 you are not able to check in by themselves and need to be with and adult.
The pool is closed daily from Monday 10/8/2026 to Friday 14/8/2026 inclusive.

It was close to Wallace Monument and I could see it from my window. Easy to get to.
The bathroom floor was uneven; soft in a couple places. No fan in room to cool it down.

3-quarter bed - too small for comfort
Beautiful location within the university campus that is close to attractions in and around Sterling. Very nice breakfast and dining area. Staff were nothing short of outstanding in every possible way.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Lage war sehr ruhig Hotel liegt auf dem Uni Campus von der Sterling University. Frühstück war full Scottish Breakfast war alles rechlich vorhanden,. Schönes Hotel jederzeit wieder.
Location - easy to catch a bus to town centre.

Busy - we were lucky to get a table for dinner after we arrived at 7:30 - although I had asked about dinner, they didn’t really respond. Would have been a real problem if we couldn’t.
Lights in room didn’t work properly. Couldn’t get TV working

There was black mould around the bath, I was unable to workout how the archaic shower worked, furniture was dated and damaged, bird poo all down one window.
Breakfast food was poor quality.

I liked the hotel in general friendly staff room great peaceful
I found the arrival time part confusing
I mistook it for check in time
It meant the staff member who I met was a bit rude saying “no the hotel is very busy right now we can’t let you in to the room’” in a less than helpful way
I had travelled a long way and if the room had been vacant a little earlier it would have been nice if she could have let me know
The staff member the next day was lovely and very understanding

Very comfortable stay. Typical modern design of hotel. Evening meal was good. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was an ok buffet. Good location. Plenty of parking.
Very long corridors so depending where your room is you could walk quite a way. Ok as long as you don't have mobility issues. If you do ask for a ground floor room as the only lift available is at the end of a very long corridor furthest away from reception.
Cold plates at the breakfast buffet. Health and safety !!
