Great for a short convenient stay
Pros:

Very convenient location walking distance from the town center and one of Basel’s train stations. Easy going staff. I had booked a single room but got a double! Room was clean and bed cosy.

Cons:

I didn’t bother me but the sound isolation might not be great. The shower temperature was a bit unreliable, but manageable and hot. Was a bit scary to leave luggage stored in an open area, but it seems that Basel is a very safe city so it was fine.

Excellent place right across from the Old City and next door to the Convention Centre. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant downstairs, wi-fi is fast and stable.
