The rooms need refurbishments. Upgrade the door locks to keyless, improve the general lighting etc

I have stayed in many different hotels in South Africa. This is the worst 4 star hotel I have ever been to. Here are my reasons :

1. There were no spoons in the room to make coffee or tea.

2. They placed sachets of the cheapest type of coffee in the room.

3. There were no bath towels in the room.

4. There was a loud drilling sound. Extremely unpleasant experience. I was advised there is a factory nearby. So this is a long term issue.

5. Parking is horrible. I didnt feel safe parking car on road.

6. Door leading to balcony was old and very difficult to close.

7. Very noisey, with traffic and I was apparently on the quieter side of the hotel.

I would suggest management also train staff to double check rooms before allowing check in.

I checķed out the same evening. I just told front desk I had a family emergency as i was not in the mood to get into details as to my unhappiness.

This hotel should be downgraded to a 1 star or 2 star hotel. I have stayed in much better 1 star and 2 star hotels in South Africa.

And to top it all off, I was called the next day with a staff member saying they noticed 2 towels missing, implying I took it.

When i saw their number pop up on my phone, I thought they were calling to check on my stay but sadly it was to accuse a guest of stealing towels which was not there in the first place.

The TV was not working. Improve parking arrangement

Unexpectedly great... Late booking on my end, pleasantly surprised.

Only complaint was that the water in the room was a brown colour

No nonsense stay for Business travellers or backpackers. Clean property with a small seating area, that also serves as a bar, right at the reception. Spacious Bathrooms that may be old but are properly functional. Balconies attached to the room for getting some fresh air. Good bang for your buck if you are not looking to spend lavishly just for the night stays. Safe surroundings with plentiful restaurants and coffee shops within a 5 minute walk.

Staff was amazing . Place a bit dated but maybe that’s their vibe .

Laundry facilities are nearby, but not on the premises. There are a lot a restaurants and stores close by. So, the hotel location is very good.

Clean and neat. Friendly staff.

Service from Michelle and Siyabonga was excellent! Would stay again.

Staff was ever ready to please. Close to many restaurants around the hotel. Hot water took a while to come on.

It's in a nice location, lots of restaurants to choose from, all within walking distance. It was very easy to get an Uber ride from the hotel, pleasant staff.

It was only for a night which I enjoyed. In terms of service it's not. Rooms large enough and relaxing. Enjoyed the choice of the shower or bath. A little tlc needed thou just to give it a cleaner look.

Very bad location, the internet does not work and did not solve the problem. Cost too high for hotel standard, ie cannot be considered four star.

Good value for the money. It is a contemporary resort. It has friendly service and a nice little restaurant on the premises.

What I cared least for was the neighborhood and noise.

The Room was clean and neat.
. however there was no water in the room. When we request water it was closed.
The shower drain is blocked. I forgot to mention it to the personnel. They need to give it attention. The parking area in the basin was really scary. I wont recommend that to anybody.
The personnel was fantastic. both when we checked in and when we checked out the following morning. The breakfast was really delicious.
overall we enjoyed the stay.
