Hotel Touring

We accidentally needed to stay one night in Messina, so we chose this hotel as it's very close to the train station and dirt cheap. The reception was friendly and the room was spacious enough. Downsides are the bathroom smells a bit and it's noisy
outside with traffic, as the sound-proof is poor. If you can put up with these, the proximity to the station and cheap cost excel disadvantage in my view.

A nice and clean hotel in a great location. Walking distance to all attractions. Also next to train station for my day trips. Staff was friendly and helpful. The language barrier with a few was no problem with google translate. Just wish there had been a closer cafe for morning

Booked there at first due to convenient location a few steps from port and station. Personal is very friendly and full of good tips even if they struggle with English. The Hotel is very old fashioned and decorated as an old villa, direct from movie set. Rooms are huge, beds okay but the shower little bit tricky to regulate. For a quiet stay, ask for a room on the back as we did on second night. Kept sport less clean.... a recommendation if on a budget in Messina

You stay at Hotel Touring Messina because it is close to the train station and affordable. You can do a day trip to Taormina, catch ferry to the Islands or catch a bus to up to Rome. I wish to recommend it because its interior common areas are architecturally unusual with a theme of marble, terrazzo and dark timber 1930’s style? They also have some well chosen items on display. When you think of all the bland places you can stay at that you soon forget, Hotel Touring was something out of a Vincent Price cult movie. Staff are attentive and there was a lot of cleaning going on which was nice to see. Rooms are large and memorable because you feel like you are sleeping over at your nana's house. Bathroom was fine, aircon and fridge good. Ask for a room at the front with a balcony. They will not at first show you those room as they are nosier. Why choose the front? You get a breeze and the view of the expressway has it benefits when Ferrari's drive by. The view from the rear rooms is of a car park.

Only positive thing about this hotel is the location. Only 2 minutes walk from the train station. The hotel itself really needs upgrades in almost every way. Main problem though was the terrible noise. I got virtually no sleep that night. Sounded like you were in the middle of the road, with honking horns and constant traffic going by all night. My friend had a room on the other side of the hall and had no noise, so unless you can sleep through anything, make sure you get a room that isn't facing the road!! Would not stay here again..

This is an old fashioned hotel with old fashioned service. The friendly and helpful staff are great. They showed us to our room and made sure everything was ok, gave us coffee and croissants for breakfast, and let us store our bags while we waited for the train and explored Messina (even called our after us when we left without our pizza....). It was the cheapest hotel we went to while on our month tour of Italy but the most value for money. If old furniture worries you and you cant cope with cigarette smoke then you may not like it, otherwise go for it.

Accueil par une personne âgée qui voulait être règlée en cash alors qu'il y avait le sigle VISA sur la porte.. nous avons insisté et payé avec CB.
Petit déjeuner frugal. Vieil hôtel, mais les trois étoiles sont elles encore homologuées????On a l'impression d'être dans une époque c'est dépaysant et drôle.

Very central.

Breakfast was coffee and croissants (which was good) but nothing else, which left the inner porridge needs u satisfied.

L'hotel si trova a 2 passi dalla stazione e pochissimi km dal centro, è pulito e il personale è cortese. Per quanto riguarda la struttura è un po' vecchiotta.

We booked this hotel because of our late arrival with the ferry. We were travelling with the Cartour ferry from Salerno, that arrived around 10.00p.m. This hotel is located just at the exit/entrance for the ferry. No big expectations. The staff is nice and the room are quite ok. Best deal for the pick season in the area. Perfect for one night!

Llegamos de viaje en el Caronte Turist a las 23:30 hs .Teníamos que solucionar el problema donde pasar la noche , para el otro día ir a Taormina.Queda cerca del puerto y era lo que buscabamos algo económico y cerca.

My evaluation of this hotel is definetely positive as far as i am concerned the quality cost ratio is very good a small and quite structure with very professional staff polite and willing to do everything to make my stay comfortable personnel and direction know how to appreciate an earlier customer and therefore if you are looking for a quite clean and cheap place for your stay in messina i would reccomend it,I woulld like to add that i have working experience in a relatives best and western hotel si i can quarantee that the gents in this hotel know how to run their business

Ingannati dall'essere un albergo presente su Expedia, con un prezzo nella norma, non è un albergo valido per famiglie o coppie fuori per un weekend. Trasandato, zero comfort, la chicca è la continua puzza di fumo di sigaretta in camera per quanto fosse stata pulita. La gentilezza dello staff purtroppo non compensa l'orrida struttura.

酒店距离火车站非常近，酒店设施一般，前台接待有些爱搭不理。早餐种类很少。

Hotel molto vecchio in una brutta zona con personale tutto maschile (comprese le pulizie).
Il personale era gentile e l'hotel era tutto sommato abbastanza pulito, ma la camera era davvero triste e la luce del bagno ricordava quella di una cella mortuaria.

Ich habe auf meiner Radreise kurzfristig nach einem günstigem Hotel gesucht und direkt ein passendes gefunden.
Der Service im Hotel war sehr gut.

Just OK. English hardly spoken. Very skimpy breakfast. Very bad written directions. They should read-- From the bus and train station go forward to the four lane street . Turn left at the traffic light onto tne narrow street. You will see the hotel on the right about fifteen meters. Total walking distance is about 500 meters. No shampoo or soap spray. No computer for use by patrons. No Wi-Fi. No lift. Inefficient fridge,. Wanted the key to the room but relented when I insisted on keeping it.

駅から近く便利ですが、ホテル自体は古く、特に水回りはかなりの老朽化を感じます。夕方1時間程仮眠したのですが、起きたらベッドの上に小さな虫が多量に這っていて卒倒……たまたまかもしれませんが、その後勿論眠れず。

albergo che ha il merito di essere molto economico, vicinissimo alla stazione e al porto, un po' rumoroso per via della strada di fronte ma con gli infissi idonei a schermare il rumore al massimo, modesto ma con fascino per via dei bei marmi delle scale e del corridoio, con un'atmosfera liberty che mi piace tanto. la colazione consisteva nel solo cappuccino e cornetto, ma vista la spesa va bene cosi.
