Good location, close to city centre and public transport.
Pros:

Good location with good facilities and clean comfortable spacious rooms. Staff were excellent, we originally were given a room which was not what we booked, the reception staff were obliging and quickly changed our rooms to what we had booked.

Cons:

Parking space was limited, not enough staff rostered on. Room allocated to us was not what was booked.

Decent location, clean but no room amenities
Pros:

Location was good, easy walk through the gardens into the city

Cons:

The room provided no amenities, not even a glass. I understand we are not paying top dollar but it also wasn't the cheapest room so to have no room amenities and no view it was disappointing. For these reasons if we were to travel back to Canberra we would not stay here.

Disappointing
Pros:

The bathroom was lovely

Cons:

After entering the room, I noticed several cleanliness issues. A few surfaces still had cup marks and had not been wiped down properly, and there was dried paint on the table. The carpets were also discoloured in a number of areas and did not appear particularly clean.

Additionally, I found a hair in the bed, and the balcony was in poor condition and did not appear to have been maintained or cleaned.

Finally, between approximately 10:00pm and 11:45pm there was extremely loud bass from what appeared to be a wedding or event below my room. The noise and vibration made it very difficult to relax or sleep, and I do wish this had been communicated at check-in.

Excellent value for money with very friendly staff, close enough to the city centre without being right in the midst of
Pros:

The location was great to avoid all of the construction work that is happening just now in the city centre. A simple 20 min walk to get to the centre or 2 short stops on the light rail. The suburb also has some nice little bars and restaurants about a 7 min walk from the hotel.

Cons:

Very limited parking spaces and not undercover parking.
