Misled into believing a better rate by booking direct 😩
Pros:

V disappointing. Last time we booked (through booking.com) we were given an upgrade and told that if we book directly through the hotel in future and join their loyalty program then we will be given and upgrade and breakfast included in the price. Just checked in. No upgrade, no breakfast, and $30 more than Booking.com!!!!! We will be frequent visitors to Canberra with our daughter now living with us. In future we will book through Booking.com

Pros:

I really appreciated the number of pillows because it made the space feel cozy and homely. The curtain design was nice as was the lighting. I additionally appreciated the layout of the space and how welcoming and helpful the staff were. The pamphlets in the lobby were a good touch too.

Cons:

Having plates available in the room would have been nice with knives and forks. A microwave would have also been helpful but regardless they were good downstairs with microwaving our food for us.

Those are not bad!

Cons:

The attitude of your night-shift security staff was extremely poor. Some vehicles were temporarily parked in the courtyard, provided they did not obstruct other vehicles, which I understand, but the attitude of your night security staff was very bad. He kept telling me that I could not park there, yet his own car was parked in a no-parking area. I am not sure whether you have different standards for guests and your own employees. In any case, I was not advised where I could park, and he kept repeating that I should park outside the premises. Overall, I am very satisfied with the other services of your hotel, but I want to report this night staff member.

Nice hotel for travelers and business.
Pros:

The room and amenities were nice, staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was great. It also had a cute rooftop area and nice views of the mountains.

Cons:

Having 1 key card and needing the key to get into the hotel lobby and upstairs in the elevator. It is a pain when you are tired and have bags to bring in on a bell hop.

Pros:

This hotel is adequate

Cons:

Room was small, and there was a smoke alarm light that flashed brightly all night. The bathroom was clean. Corridors have seen better days and smell strongly of air freshener. Comfortable enough but expensive for what it is.

Cons:

The had a lot of fragrance pumping into the area and getting out of the lift I felt it tightening in my throat and causing me to cough. The room was impacted but not as much as hallways. Bathroom was tiny only room for 1 toiletries bags

The man who worked on the breakfast service on the 5th floor. He was very friendly, helpful and extremely nice to deal with. An exemplary employee.
The room was nice, though a long walk from the lift. The bed was too firm and there was no extra mattress topper available, which was a pity. Breakfast was good value.

Cons:

No resolution available for the hard mattress.
