Pros:

Very comfortable room. Nice place. We were on the ground floor so couldn’t see anything might be better to be on a higher level looking out over the golf course.

Pros:

Nice lounge chairs. 25m swimming pool and gym open from 6am.

Très très déçu pas de petit dejeuner continental pourtant mentionné dans le descriptif

La réservation était faite avec vue sur le golf nous avons eu vue sur le parking aucun recours possible donc très decus

Pros:

We had a fantastic room facing the golf course. All very clean and modern. I really enjoyed the swimming pool. The hotel gave a very good impression and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Just some small things. Everything was beautifully renovated but the ac unit on the balcony was completely rusty. A wooden floor in the corridor had not been renovated.
Whilst the place itself was absolutely fantastic, it would have been nice to be able to walk into town on an evening, it's too long to do that.

Great location, great amenities!
Pros:

We loved The Sands for our short stopover in Torquay. The room was spacious and comfortable with a desk, lounge chairs, deck and a super comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and happily tolerated my GF/DF requirements at breakfast. There was ample (free) parking, and we were a very short stroll to the beach and a few minutes drive to the Main Street of downtown Torquay. We didn’t have time to use the other amenities, but we were impressed by what was on offer. We would happily return!

Cons:

Our room was near the receiving dock and recycle bins, so was noisy at times, but it didn’t detract from our stay.
