We had a lovely stay, Hanaa, Max and the other front of house staff were ever so helpful. Hanaa even took pictures for us which was so lovely and Max helped us with a taxi as we were leaving. The room decoration was also so beautiful, I really was made to feel special by the team at ME London

We arrived early and my wife who is pregnant was not feeling well and Ishmael and Taz were able to accommodate and find me a new room for a small upgrade charge!

Loved the hotel, very genuine experience. Wouldn’t have been the same without Max. He’s an extraordinary help, very cool guy.

My wife and I travelled to London in October to see some concerts and get to know London. We thought we’d stay close to the Strand. We had never heard of the ME Hotel line and were excited to stay there. The hotel was nothing short of perfect in every detail. All the feels of a boutique hotel. The rooms were amazing and the atmosphere was magnificent. The hotel has a personal fragrance that wafts through the air all the time and when you step back into the hotel every night, you feel a sense of calm come over you. On one night, we could hear the music from the rooftop disco in our room and it was a little late. I called the front desk just to ask if they could reduce the volume and surely they did. The music was not a great disturbance but the hotel treated it as such and made sure to ascertain if our stay was fine. Our stay was amazing! The front desk assistant manager Susana Castro and Almhoa (sp) made sure our stay was perfect. And it was. We will return and stay at the same hotel again.

We arrived a few hours before check-in and managed to get in early! We had a glass of Prosecco on arrival and Diana showed us to our room and was telling us about all the amenities available - she was super friendly and helpful up until the very moment we left.

Room service was great, a little mix up with our breakfast but it was all sorted very quickly.

We would 100% recommend this hotel and already planning our next trip back.

We had a lovely stay at ME and overall everything was great. The rooms are consistently very spacious, and breakfast was good.
One small downside: since switching to an à la carte format, the selection feels much more limited and the included allowance is quite restricted – many items require an extra charge. That’s the reason for one point less.
A special mention to SHEN from the breakfast team: outstanding service – attentive, friendly, and truly professional.
We’re looking forward to our next visit.

Besides the epic facilities and rooftop bar, my stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect, and a big part of that was thanks to Jezabel. From the very first moment, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, always making sure everything was taken care of. Her warm attitude and willingness to help truly made a difference and made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. Thanks to Jezabel, my experience at the hotel exceeded all expectations. I would definitely love to come back!!!

The welcome at ME London was excellent. As was the room and breakfast. We stayed to celebrate my birthday and the team wend above and beyond to make it extra special. Having stayed at ME Dubai a couple of months previously the bar had been set, London lived up to the expectation! Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and despite being in central London we felt able to relax and unwind in a nice environment. We stopped for cocktails at Radio and enjoyed the views, and dined at Luciano by Gino d’Acampo for breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to Gabriela Mejia and the team for looking after us so well. I'd highly recommend this hotel and we'll be back again to visit very soon.

I have even travelling my whole life and always stay at 5 start hotels . ME London is by far the BEST experience I have ever had in LONDON.
Def the first of many stays , the beautiful infrastructure is one thing and then THE AMAZING STAFF is on a whole other level. They jump to help you with anything , they keep asking about you , they cater and help to any service in the hotel and give amazing recommendations outside the hotel too ! I really felt at home . I got the room with the balcony and it was spacious and lovely
The only thing that did not tick the box for me was the breakfast , so I wouldn’t book the room with breakfast and go to the numerous breakfasts places across the road (pret a manger is literally across the road )
The staff… I will miss them ! They make you feel at home , thank you to HANNA who was on her first week at work , but spoke the hotels identity and represented as if she been there forever , and there is Sara , Ismael, Luka, max and, Ryan … you are all amazing and I can’t wait to stay at ME London Again and again

This is not a five-star hotel – at best it’s a three-star.

The room was average, nothing special. The gym is tiny, dark, has no windows, limited equipment, fixed air conditioning at 20 degrees, and people don’t clean machines after use. It’s unpleasant and poorly managed.

Breakfast is awful and wildly overpriced at £35 per person. We complained almost every time and eventually received a full refund. The worst moment was seeing the chef handle fruit with his bare hands on the service counter and then run his hands through his hair – completely unacceptable.

The steakhouse feels like a nightclub with loud music, and the black and silver decor throughout the hotel is dated and overly masculine. Reception staff are unhelpful, and the billing system is bizarre: stays over seven nights require settling the bill weekly, which isn’t clearly explained, and the charges make no sense.

Two managers were genuinely lovely and tried to help, but they couldn’t undo the overall experience. The rooftop bar has good views, but New Year’s Eve was poor – no countdown, no traditional songs, just the DJ playing his own music. Other guests said he’s related to the GM, which would explain the lack of care.

Overall, average amenities, inconsistent service, and nowhere near five-star quality. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

For clarity, we did not meet you at any point during our stay. While you may have been copied into email correspondence, all communication—both written and on site—was conducted with your managers, not with you. It was at their request that feedback was provided after we returned home following New Year’s Eve.

Your comment that the issues were “dealt with when you were here” is inaccurate. Had matters been resolved at the time, there would have been no need for repeated follow-up during our stay, nor for your managers to request feedback after our departure.

More significantly, your response appears to misunderstand the purpose of guest reviews.

Reviews are written for other guests. They exist to document experiences as they occurred so prospective customers can make informed decisions before booking. They are not negated by internal discussions, nor does subsequent acknowledgement alter what a guest experienced at the time.

Guests do not travel—particularly during premium periods—with the expectation of repeatedly pursuing basic service standards. When this occurs, it becomes a relevant part of the stay and is entirely appropriate to share for the benefit of others.

For accuracy and completeness, I will be updating my reviews to reflect this exchange as well, as the manner in which feedback is publicly addressed forms part of the overall guest experience.

Location was perfect! Rooms were very clean and spacious. Additionally the Dyson hairdryer was a nice touch. A lovely birthday message and dessert in the room upon arrival :)

Friendly staff organised at check in and out, Shruthi was welcoming and helpful. George helped take our bags to our room and offered us all a drink to add to our experience!

Impressive Hotel
Came to London to see a show and stayed here. We were lucky enough to have a junior suite which was very impressive in terms of size. Needs some tweaks I would say in terms of floor. Quite a few stains and coffee cup stains etc Bath impressive. Lighting a bit strange in the living area. Very dark. So not sure if lamps need better bulbs. Service was exceptional to be fair. Check in however was slow Very slow And a very small reception Ie lots of staff but all a bit fumbling.
Had fruit and wine delivered after arriving in room which again was impressive

finishes in marble and steel. The location is excellent — right in Soho, very close to the theatres and many great spots in the city.
I really appreciated that they honored my birthday upgrade, and I even received an additional upgrade as a Gold member, which made the experience feel special.
The breakfast was also outstanding: very complete, served à la carte, in a lovely Italian restaurant.
However, there were a few details that could be improved. The “king bed” was actually two beds pushed together, and you could definitely feel the separation in the middle, which was uncomfortable. The shower water pressure was quite low, making it less enjoyable.
Also, the room temperature was extremely hot. I called reception twice, and each time I spoke with a female staff member at the front desk who told me that this was the standard temperature for the hotel. Unfortunately, it felt like my concern wasn’t taken very seriously, and the heat was so strong that it was uncomfortable as soon as I entered the room.
Overall, a great hotel with a fantastic location and beautiful design, but I hope they can improve comfort details like bedding, shower pressure, and room temperature control.

An amazing experience, truly another standard above at a delightful location. From the amazing feet of interior design of this retrofitted historical building to the immersive feel of comfort and tranquillity in the midst of the busyness of the Strand, I’d highly recommend a stay at the ME hotel. A brilliant representative of the Melia Group. Having the pleasure of being assisted by the staff; notably Luca and Pavel, is only a pure representation of ME’s high class hospitality.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The atmosphere was relaxing, the room was spotless and comfortable, and everything felt thoughtfully taken care of.

I had an incredible weekend stay at ME hotel in London. Diana and Cristina went above and beyond from the moment we arrived — we were upgraded to a beautiful room that had a balcony with views of the Thames and were surprised with a bottle of champagne and more gifts that we could have imagined. They went above and beyond for my sisters birthday with balloons and a thoughtful message written on the wall, even a birthday card!

The attention to detail and thoughtfulness truly made our stay unforgettable. The location was perfect but Diana, Cristina and the whole team made our trip. I have never seen a team do so much for their guests. I can’t recommend this hotel enough — true class and genuine hospitality. I’m beyond excited to stay again.

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew this would be a special experience!!! The decor. The ambience. The staff. Let me say again....THE STAFF! Super friendly, professional, personable, attentive.

Isabella walked with us to our room, making sure everything was to our liking. When she found out where we were going for lunch, she gave us very specific and easy-to-follow directions for getting there. She raved about the area and was excited for us to be going. Sara, Sruthi, at check-in, were so kind and helpful. Beautiful personalities. The same can be said for Nneka (who helped locate a specific store and provided recommendations for souvenir shopping), Max (who helped with tour transportation information), Stalim, and Kai (I wish I could recall the young man working with him (Michael?) who had been with the hotel for 4 months). Each of these individuals, in one way or another, personified what it means to provide superb hospitality. They were warm and kind and always made us feel that they were happily willing to help us in any way.

One of my friends and myself were celebrating birthdays. The staff left beautiful birthday messages on the TV wall, as well as scrumptious birthday pastries!!!! YUM!!!! It was very sweet of them to do this. London was the 3rd leg of our 'birthday trip' and no other hotel did such. What a wonderful surprise!!!!!

We all loved the breakfast options in Luciano's. Maribel's smile and sweet spirit made for a nice start to each day. Service was prompt and efficient.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at ME London. It is a beautiful hotel. The room was CLEAN with a city view! The location is perfect. I was able to walk to Big Ben and the London Eye. It is close to Picadilly Circus, Traflagar Square, multiple museums. You can either walk or catch one of the many buses that stop right outside the hotel. SO EASY! The hop-on hop-off buses also have pick-up stops across the street. I will definitely stay at ME London on my next trip to London.

We had a lovely experience at the ME hotel, the location is perfect and the their rooftop bar is a great spot for the evening. our receptionist Nneka Uwajeh was so friendly and went above and beyond for us. When we next stay in London we will definitely come back to this hotel.
