Our first trip to Hainan, China, was an incredible 30-day adventure. Having stayed in six different high-end hotels during our travels, I can confidently say that JW Marriott Haitang Bay was a standout experience.
From the moment we arrived, the reception team provided a level of care and professionalism that was truly top-tier. The check-in process was seamless and welcoming, setting the tone for the rest of our stay.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is what surprised us most. It is a peaceful sanctuary with a calm, sophisticated vibe. The service is consistently excellent, and every staff member we encountered was professional and attentive to our needs.
We stayed in a family semi-villa, which was absolutely stunning. A few highlights from the room:

Мне понравилось территория где всё красиво и ухоженно.

Cons:

Мне не понравилось что здесь очень большие волны, сразу скажу на море купаться не получится. Я когда за 2 дня ранние был в другом отеле и там на нашем пляжу встретил людей который приехали на наш пляж купаться и сказали что они с отели Атлантис и там не возможно купаться за волны, а Атлантис прямо рядом с Мэрриот. Но когда я приехал и увидел что это действительно так что не возможно купаться там очень большие волны. Только будете купаться в бассейне. Я не знаю это всегда так или нет но октябрь такой.

Better than the Sheraton next door
Pros:

Our room was spacious, the gardens and the pools are brilliant, and the beach is just beyond. The facilities were really good.

Cons:

The hotel has too few staffs and they’re often inexperienced or unresponsive during the evenings.

poor service and value for money
Pros:

the welcome and check in stuff were very attentive and nice in general.

Cons:

1. view of the rooms are terrible. no such thing as sea view even when you book them. claimed the hotel opened in 2019 but were merely taken over from an old hotel thus slightly dated furniture.
2. room has a very strong mouldy smell and has caused us respiratory issues.
3. the check out stuff was extremely rude to us as if we were not welcomed. failed to issue receipt as she does not know how to do so

overall terrible experience, not even comparable with other hotels in the region

此酒店2014年就已经开业，2019年部分重新装修，升级品牌为jw万豪，但实际的硬件，特别是服务，完全不能达到万豪的水平，更别说jw万豪. 酒店的位置还是比较安静的，可能因为房间比较少的原因，所以整个酒店人比较少。游泳池比较宽敞，而且有一个25米的准标准池，不过游泳池里有很多树枝、杂物，显然没人清洁。入住时给安排的房间只能看到一点点海，在强烈要求下，才在第二天给更换了一间。入住时保险柜不能打开，足足等了一个半小时，才有人过来解锁。mini吧免费，矿泉水供应充足。洗澡水水流小，不热。房间内湿度非常大，虽然每个房间配备了抽湿机，但是噪音很大而且抽湿机吸风口全都是灰尘。早餐整体品种和菜品还算新鲜，不过不论是早餐还是正餐，餐厅管理非常混乱，无论是布置餐桌，撤盘子都需要多次提醒，有时依然没人应和。在健身房的卫生间里居然发现了几只尚有一些气息存在的大蟑螂。 整体上来讲，这家酒店的服务简直也就是一个如家的水平，管理非常的差。真不知道这9点多的平均分是怎么得来的，大家一定慎重选择，如果稍微加一点钱完全可以考虑去住艾迪逊或者亚特兰蒂斯。

가족 여행으로 2박을 했는데 너무 좋았습니다. 건물이나 조경, 방 상태, 서비스 뭐하나 빠지는것 없이, 베고니아 이후에 아틀란티스에서도 숙박했지만 아틀란티스보다 베고니아가 훨씬 좋았습니다. 특히, 수영장 시설 이용은 더할나위없이 휼륭했습니다. 넓기도 엄청 넓고 사람도 별로없어서 전체를 대여한 느낌으로 너무 즐겁게 쉬다가 왔네요. 다음에도 싼야를 간다면 더로얄 베고니아에서만 지낼 생각입니다. 추천해요

2019년 8월 19일까지 일부 리노베이션이 진행되고 있었습니다. 직원들 대부분 영어를 잘하고 시설은 조금 노후됐지만 너무 이쁘고 수영장도 예쁘고 사람들도 많이없어서 너무 좋았어요 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 그리고 해변이 좀 멀고 건물이 4층밖에 안되서 오션뷰 아무런 의미없습니다. 가격 저렴한 룸타입 선택하는걸 추천합니다.

좋은 시설과 잘 관리되는 수영장 덕분에 8일동안 즐겁게 있을 수 있었습니다.한국어가 유창한 TAEJUNKWON QUAN 덕분에 언어의 어려움없이 있을 수 있어 좋았습니다. 메인 수영장이 좋아서 굳이 쉐라톤 까지 갈일이 없었습니다. 방에 딸린 수영장도 놀기에 적당하며 밤낮으로 이용하기 매우 편리했습니다

Property is quiet and generally nice. It just didn’t feel as special as I would have expected. We stayed at a Renaissance here four years ago and overall I felt the service and attention to detail there was much better than the Begonia, even though the Begonia is more expensive and considered more luxury. Don’t get me wrong, we had a nice time but the property is not that old yet has several areas that are deteriorating visibly and lack of staffs attention to details (eg after our room was cleaned no one removed dirty glasses or replaced them with clean ones...) was disappointing.
