La amabilidad del personal, sobre todo de housekeeping. Se puede llegar caminando a la mayoría de los lugares de interés. Linda piscina.

A very good place in Stone Town!
Pros:

Excellent central location. Very nice and helpful staff. Room with all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay including a mini-fridge and a kettle.

Cons:

As it is close to the harbor, I recommend that you bring earplugs because it gets really noisy even at night. The room had a mildew smell that was gone after a day (or maybe I got used to it lol). The safe didn’t function properly. And for my room, there were steps everywhere; so, if you have physical challenges, ask if they have rooms without steps in them.

It was decent.

Cons:

One disappointing aspect of our stay was the experience with the staff on the night shift when we arrived. We got to the hotel at about 5:00 a.m. with our 5-year-old daughter after what had been a tiring journey. I had called ahead to inform the hotel that we would be arriving early.

Upon arrival, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and that we would either have to wait till morning or noon or find alternative accommodation. Considering we were traveling with a young child and were visibly exhausted, I found this response quite disappointing.

What made the situation even more confusing was that after waiting for about an hour and a half, a room suddenly became available. This left me wondering whether more could have been done to accommodate us from the outset. While I appreciate that early check-in is subject to availability, I expected better communication, greater empathy, and a more proactive approach, especially given our circumstances.

The pool was very good

Cons:

The roof restaurant above the room was extremely noisy, early in the morning and late at night. Lots of chairs scraping and movement noise.
