I had a great stay at Golden Tulip Stone Town. The reception team and overall service were top-notch from check-in to check-out. The bedrooms were clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would gladly stay here again.

Everything was perfect—the room was excellent, especially the pool, and the breakfast was amazing. I also had the chance to meet the Head Chef, who was truly wonderful.

We had an amazing stay in Golden Tulip Stone Town Boutique hotel, reception staff are very charming, restaurant staff serve with love and care, the hotel had a gorgeous rooftop offering stunning sunset view, and the food is very comfortable with good room attendants.
Very Poor and Unprofessional Experience
We checked in early and were told the rate would be 30 per person, only to be informed the next morning that the rate was actually 70. Before our stay, the hotel had already sent us a quotation, which we paid in full. Shockingly, three days after our stay, they sent another invoice claiming they had quoted incorrectly.
I seriously questioned whether I should even pay it, but both I and the tour company that made the booking were repeatedly harassed until payment was made. This behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. There is clearly no coordination within the staff, and the reservation manager was extremely rude and harassed me constantly.
This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Basic issues were handled very poorly, and the overall experience showed a serious lack of accountability and professionalism. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning.
