Great stay, but disappointed with the person that didn’t book our parking spot as requested
Pros:

I thought everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Having a little kitchenette and washing machine and dryer is lovely as well, especially for those with children.

Cons:

The property was ok apart from a funny smell between the lift and the room. The thing I was not happy about was that I phoned on 8 March at 12:50 and spoke to a lady to book parking. No parking was booked for us so had to make another plan which was inconvenient as I am pregnant as well…

Terrible and would never recomend to stay here.

I had booked months in advance for a 1 bedroom apartment for my husband,Son and I. When we arrived to check in we were assigned a very basic studio apartment and at no point did the women booking us in communicate this to us. The hotels intention was to charge us for a 1 bedroom apartment but put us in a studio.
When I went to ask about this at reception, the only compensation reception could offer was to Knock off $45 and if we had found alternate accomodation that night they would cancel our booking for free- what a joke! I wasn’t happy that what was being suggested was to inconvenience my husband and child. To make matters worse the room we were given smelt of smoke and a previous customer had left a plastic cover over the smoke detector. Never again! Do not book here.

Pros:

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed was nice. The shower is perfect. There is everything you could want.

Cons:

We, had a late check in (only by 20mins) and had to use an intercom at the door which took a while...I'm not really complaining, we were the ones that were late, but we had terrible trip (road works) along the way, and were running late for an event, and this intercom nearly "put me over the edge" :)
We were tucked away in a back room with very little natural light.

Pros:

Location is fine

Cons:

Beds were really uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattresses. The toilet seat was loose and kept moving and the shower gel dispenser was broken so was difficult to get to work. Whatever was outside of our room, was lit up all night so even with the curtains closed, it felt like daytime outside. Very confusing when you wake up at 02:30!

Centrally located but unimpressive
Pros:

Spacious room with small kitchen, washing machine and centrally located.

Cons:

It is dated, grubby, expensive and underwhelming staff. Booked in and bank debit immediately, couldn’t get a receipt until I demanded a copy the next day, could only email me, would not print me a copy. Charged $25 a day parking for a vehicle stacked under cover. Reception opened at 7am but no one attended reception until 7:30am, asked car to be ready at 8:15am, arrived to pick up car and vehicle was still in stacker, receptionist too busy eating his breakfast. Next day we returned the car and was told that reception didn’t have skill to park car in stacker and we need to do ourselves! Told them this was not our responsibility. No soap in shower dispenser, told they we’re having problems with suppler. Room service made up room and left old towels on floor in bathroom. Homeless person living in carpark next to our apartment window. All this for NZ$500 for two nights. We are on NZ two week road trip and after 4 accomodations this is the worst.

Lovely hotel just far enough away from the late night hubbub
Pros:

Lovely spacious suite. Very comfortable bed. Good bathroom with essential toiletries but no more. Laundry was a great surprise and much appreciated.
Great blackout curtains. Plenty of power points and good lighting. Dining spot and a small desk too. Comfy armchair. Easy wifi.
Wonderful atrium lounge area on the floor with big armchairs. That would be so nice sipping wine by the fireplace with friends in winter.

Cons:

Views were ordinary with high windows and when I did look out it was to see a bloke peeing against the wall.
No coffee maker. Only tiny milk things.
Unable to cast from devices to TV.

It was spacious and clean.

Cons:

The decorated was a but tired and the soap dispenser not working and held together with tape. One of the light switches seemed a bit dodgy.

A quiet location and a comfortable room
Pros:

Convenient location within walking distance of the inter city bus terminal. Well appointed with a comfortable bed.

Cons:

Not much drawer or shelf space if you are staying for a few days
