Cons:

This is the first time I’ve encountered a hotel telling me that my room is ready but refusing to let me check in because I arrived just one hour before the official check-in time. They said that if I wanted to check in immediately, I would have to pay an extra £50.

Perfect location - Friendly staff
Pros:

Perfect location in the city centre. The property was clean and quiet, and had everything we needed for a night away.
Beds were extremely comfortable and the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. Would highly recommend.

Cons:

There was a slight issue with air conditioning but this was rectified immediately.

I typically refrain from submitting reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience regarding this particular accommodation. Given the price point of nearly £190 for a night, my expectations for a luxurious experience were not met. The property exhibited significant signs of wear and tear, with dated fixtures and fittings. Notably, the walls displayed accumulated marks from bags and shoes and hands, suggesting a lack of recent maintenance over an extended period. The stairwells also showed considerable wear, and the water pressure was notably inadequate. Upon entry, a distinct, unpleasant odor was present, which could likely be mitigated with a simple air freshener. The overall impression was that the property is in dire need of a comprehensive refurbishment. I would have anticipated amenities such as a coffee machine with complimentary pods, rather than instant coffee sachets. Furthermore, the elevator operated at a remarkably slow pace and produced unusual noises. While the location in the heart of Leeds is undeniably excellent, and the accommodation was acceptable for a brief stay, the designation "luxury apartments" is, in my opinion, misleading given the current condition. It is a shame, as the property possesses considerable potential.
