Nothing
The resort picture's shown on the website and the actual picturesque is hell and heaven apart. We went to check in but seeing the resort location, ambience, staff etc, we got disappointed. Finally, we decided to move out of this hotel and checked in into another hotel. Hotel's must keep transparency in what they are offering to the clients. The pictures must be refreshed very 6 months so that clients can take appropriate decision.
Nice stay
Enjoy personally
Location
The room was very dirty, bed and blankets were smelling, AC was making noise, no remote for AC, TV was not working, dirtiest sofa I have ever seen in a hotel, bathroom was blocked, toilet seat was not working properly, balcony was filled with pigeon poop..over all total mess, wrong information provided on site that property is 4 start, restaurant has urine smelling..
Arrived to find they opened the hotel just for us. The last guest was in November 2014. No electricity, no wifi, no television, no shower just a bucket with water out of a tap. Covered in pigeon poo the smell was terrible. Checked out of the hotel did not stay. The hotel is nothing like the pictures. Hotels. Com were fab. Make sure we were taken care off. My advise is unless you like staying in haunted house do not go here. Hope they get their act together it could be a fantastic place if they cleaned up their act. Pool was a swamp filled with slim.
upon arrival management stated that they had declined our booking from hotels.com as they were booked however we had just received a confirmation from hotels.com. they gave us a room after much arguing. the remaining staff were friendly. wifi was not working. breakfast was good. rooms were good.
The hotel seems to be new. The food served is good. Basic amenities like TV went down quite number of times. The generator was not switched on as we were the only one. this has caused some inconvenience. They should have credit card facilities for settlement of bills. This can cause lot of hardship for the guest.
A decent 3 or 3plus star hotel, though in local context it could at a stretch be termed 4 star. We visted over the last we days of the Pushkar fair in end November 2012, and were surprised to find the hotel quite empty. The rooms were big, and the place was reasonably good, barring initial plumbing problems. The staff were very helpful and gave us another room to shower, so the plumbing issues were attended to. The hotel food (breakfast & dinner) was very acceptable.....quite essential given that the town is a few kilometers away and does not offer much in terms of food choice or clean places to eat. The hotel has large well kep lawns, and is surrounded by agricultural land, so it provides a nive rurual setting. Private transportation/car is essential as it is not a walking distance to Pushkar town.
Overall, we found it to be excellent value for money, and would reccommend the Satyam Palace.
