Wonderful winter experience
Pros:

Location is excellent. Walk distance from train station and middle of town. Free bus service taking to the cable way station to go up the mountain. Little balcony with nice view of Matterhorn peak.

Cons:

Restaurant inside Hotel run by Michelen chef. We did not realize until too late and prices was expensive. Not blaming anyone but heads up to others.

Everything was perfect. Great service, comfortable room, and a very pleasant overall experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well organized. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

Good, but avoid paying more for a view of Matterhorn.

1. The swimming pool is cold.

2. We booked a room with a view of the Matterhorn to ensure a better experience for my parents, but when we arrived, the room did not have a view of the mountain.
When I asked at the front desk, the staff initially said that our room did not have a view of the Matterhorn. Then they checked again and changed their story and said that it did, but that we couldn't see it because we arrived late at the hotel and the weather was the problem. However, when we entered the room, the sky was clear and there was clearly no mountain to be seen. It was disappointing.
