Cathedral is undergoing refurbishments work at the rear of the hotel. Works may take place from 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of the building, there are quite a lot of stairs.

The hotel is in a central location in the pedestrianized city center, however, guests are welcome to drive to the hotel's front door for unloading prior to parking.

Parking vouchers for the public car park cost GBP 13 for 24-hours parking.

Baby cots are provided upon request only. They are not guaranteed until confirmed by the hotel.

Excellent cathedral view and location
Pros:

Location was as close to the cathedral as one can get - right outside my window. Friendly and helpful staff gave me a choice of an upgrade to a lower room on the street side but I stayed with my garret. They carried my bag up and down the very steep and narrow stairs.

Cons:

Old building with uneven floors so head was lower than foot, not comfortable. I switched the bedding around. Be prepared: you’ll be staying in an historic building with many stairs. Fine for me but others may have more difficulty.

Pros:

Die Lage ist wünderschön, direkt an der Kathedrale. Der Blick aus unseren Zimmer ging auf den Vorplatz der Kathedrale.
Sehr ruhig am Abend. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt.
Das Personal ist super. Da es sehr heiß war, könnten wir uns an freien Getränken bedienen.
Auf der Dachterasse mit Blick auf die Kathedrale ließ sich der Tag gut ausklingen.

Cons:

Ein kleines Mango hatte unser Badezimmer. Es gab keine Brause und täglich ein Vollbad ist nicht sehr wassersparend.
Vielleicht könnte man doch mal versuchen an die Wannenarmatur eine Brause anzubringen.

The streets nearby are very noisy at night so if you need quiet, ask for a room that is not on the street
