Pros:

Perfect location for the Art Deco Centre. The The hotel was really stylish and lots of detail for the period feel. Loved the feel of the hotel. The room was clean and loved the bright colours. Comfortable bed and quite night. The staff have been very helpful and thoughtful. We have had breakfast and evening meals. All excellent.

Art Deco heaven, ease and comfort and in a perfect central location
Pros:

Stunning refurb of this Art deco treasure - gorgeous foyer and decor in the hotel with very central location in the heart of the Art Deco centre of Napier, and with roof top garden looking out to the seafront. Very relaxing and pleasant with authentic character features.

Napier is gorgeous and this hotel sums up the art deco ness of it

Pros:

Loved the room and access to the balcony - good place to read on a sunny day. Attended the art deco lunch - burlesque show was great.

Historic buildings are precious, and this one is packed with surprises.
Pros:

Wonderful location for view of Hawkes Bay and the sunrise. Authentic hotel with loads of enjoyable memorabilia. Car-parking close. Helpful staff. Affordable breakfast.

Second stay. Was good and we’d stay again
Pros:

Character, friendly staff, great location and affordable

Cons:

There was no parking in front of the building to drop off our luggage so parked a few mins away (which was fine as we didn’t have much luggage).

It was comfortable but the shower was a problem

The bed was nice the room was nice

I didn’t like the very small bathroom I couldn’t close the shower door if I closed the shower door it was that small it turned off the water
