I went to the Nobu Hotel and found it spectacular. The room was incredible, and the staff were outstanding. People from Morocco have something special. I’d especially like to highlight the hammam in the spa—it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Hayat did an amazing job. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I give it a 10/10
The food is delicious and the service is excellent but the rooftop bar and downstairs restaurant play music so loud you can't hear your fellow diners talk, and definitely avoid suites on the 3rd floor, as you can hear the beat until 1am!
We had the most amazing time. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, the food was spectacular and the rooftop terrace is the place to be! They also have an indoor pool in the spa that is amazing!
Our stay at Nobu Marrakech was amazing ❤️. We enjoyed our time there immensely. The suite, the food, the location: everything was a 10 out of 10.
Yet, what made the biggest impression was the staff. They all go above and beyond what may be expected: from pre-arrival contact to our final goodbye (for now that is 😉): everyone was so kind, so helpful. Biggest shoutout to Narjis, your kind words in our communications were heartwarming ❤️.
So thank you everyone at Nobu Marrakech. There will be no other hotel for us when we visit Marrakech again.
This was a surprise trip for my partners 50th birthday & I am 36. We stayed for 3 nights the last weekend in feb. We are definitely not Ibiza clubbing types so I was slightly concerned about the reviews re noise from the rooftop in the rooms. We were allocated a junior suite on floor 2, we could not hear the roof dj in our room at all with the door shut and the air con on. We could very faintly hear the prayer call but certainly not enough to disturb us. Neither of us are heavy sleepers so I would suggest asking for a lower floor room and taking ear plugs if you’re concerned but we had no reason to be and will 100% stay again.
We really enjoyed our trip. The hotel is just outside the city walls and about 20 min walk to the main square. 15 min drive from the airport. Taxis are super cheap and plentiful from outside the hotel. We visited in Ramadan and there was no impact to us as tourists, which surprised me!
Our room was spacious and included clarins toiletries in the bathroom. We were really impressed with the knock at the door the first evening which was the concierge and a bar tender with a mobile bar and choice of complimentary cocktails which he made there and then for us! This was a lovely touch, we have travelled all over the world and not experienced this before.
Really lovely modern gym and reformer Pilates studio to use. We went to the spa daily, the men’s and women’s sauna / steam room / jacuzzi is separate by the way. You can be with your partner in the relaxation room or the swimming pool area. We also used the rooftop pool which was well staffed and had a dj every day. Yes it was quite loud during the day but no more than any other hotel you’d visit in Europe! We ate at the rooftop terrace during the day for lunch, prices are a bit cheaper than London. Food was really good!
Breakfast was excellent, it’s a curated buffet and really good high quality.
When we return to Marrakesh we will definitely stay at Nobu.
I had a really lovely stay at Nobu Hotel Marrakech. From the moment I arrived the service was amazing. The staff are incredibly attentive and kind, honestly some of the best service I’ve experienced in a hotel.
The rooms are beautiful, very clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable.
Breakfast was one of my favorite parts of the stay. The omelette station is incredible and everything is very fresh. I also loved that they had a live guitarist playing during breakfast, it just made the atmosphere nice and calm in the morning.
I also tried the spa and had a massage and hammam, which was also a great experience.
Another thing I really liked is that the hotel has Pilates reformer machines. I was able to do a Pilates session during my stay, which was such a nice extra and not something you find in many hotels.
Overall it was a wonderful experience. Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, very relaxing spa, and truly amazing service. I would definitely come back again.
This hotel is okay but not great and hence doesn't merit the room rate I am sad to say and would stop me from going to any other Nobu hotel in the future.
1) room / hallways / pool are tatty in places - for a 5 star hotel that can't be the case. We were on 1st floor and hallways smelt of damp. Just lots of small things needing an upgrade.
2) the level of noise at the pool from mid afternoon until past midnight is insane - think Ibiza party levels. I can see others have commented on this and the hotel has repeatedly commented that 'they will pass on the feedback'. Be under no illusion that there is clearly no intent to change this - a DJ is paid to be at the pool and there are speakers pumping out this music every few meters. So it is what it is - some may love it, but many including us clearly don't. To the point where we stopped going to the pool because it was just so unpleasant in terms of noise level - not in anyway relaxing, despite what was amazing views and lovely setting.
3) staff were truly lovely but service was a little lacking at times - room not made up to 3pm on first day / having to hunt down staff at the pool to get a drink / stood at reception of spa with no staff member on the desk (all of them appeared to be in the managers room having fun by the sounds of it) - I would caveat that as mentioned they were all super friendly and not for want of many of them working very hard!!
4) food ok but in realty we had significantly better food elsewhere for less £
So I am afraid whilst this hotel many will still enjoy it's just not good enough for the brand and 5 stars this trying to portray.
On a final positive note it is a great spot with easy access to the Medina and
Great experience. I recommend this hotel, the restaurant offers tasty meals and the bar has a nice selection of drinks, which made our stay enjoyable. Thanks to all the staff
I read with interest the reviews about the hotel and unfortunately I cannot review it as excellent good yes excellent no. Reviews are of course very subjective and ultimately you have to make your own mind up which is why I have to say the was one key thing that prevented me from giving the hotel 5 out of 5 and it was the Roof Top bar/pool/restaurant. Whilst many praised this area I am afraid I can’t. The music was incredibly loud and whilst I appreciate some perhaps even many of the hotels customers may like this I certainly did not. It was impossible in my opinion to have a relaxing time by the pool and the music continued late into the night. We even decided not to try the bar or restaurant in the evening because if the noise. On the plus side the rooftop did give a fantastic view of the city and we were lucky enough to see the snow covered mountains in the background.
I should also balance my review by saying the staff at breakfast were fantastic in particular Adnam and Abel Ghafour provided excellent service and the food quality here was 5 star. A special mention also for the house keeping team who did an excellent job with Jamila looking after our particular room.
So the key question would we stay again unfortunately the answer is no purely because of the loud music at the rooftop, which is a real shame because otherwise it was an excellent hotel.
My husband and I had an amazing stay at the hotel, everyone friendly and professional, room spotlessly clean and comfortable & great location to enjoy Marrakesh.
Special thank you to concierge Jamal who was great for recommendations & making himself available for any questions at any time, and also breakfast was made more special with great service from all staff and chefs and particularly from Abdelghafour who is a fantastic waiter who served us every morning.
Nobu Marrakech is a destination dining experience, offering panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and the city’s colorful rooftop. The menu—an attraction in itself—is defined by the inspired flavors and innovative dishes mastered by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Drawing inspiration from Japanese and South American flavors, it features signature dishes including Black Cod Miso, Rock Shrimp Tempura, and Yellowtail Sashimi alongside special creations influenced by local flavors.

My First Stay at Nobu Marrakech
From the moment I landed in Morocco for the very first time, my experience felt seamless and elevated. As I arrived at the airport, my chauffeur was already waiting for me, greeting me warmly and escorting me directly to Nobu Marrakech. After travelling extensively around the world, I can honestly say that this was one of the smoothest and most welcoming arrivals I have ever experienced.
The moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was captivated. The scent in the air was beautiful, soft and luxurious. The lush plants, elegant trees, and impeccable attention to detail created an atmosphere that felt both serene and sophisticated. It was an immediate sensory experience that set the tone for my entire stay.
What truly sets Nobu Marrakech apart is the service. I have stayed in many luxury hotels globally, yet the team here offered the most friendly and professional service I have ever encountered. Every member of staff was not only impeccably trained and efficient, but genuinely warm, kind, and engaging. I was treated like an absolute princess from the very first moment. There is a rare balance between high level professionalism and heartfelt hospitality, and Nobu Marrakech has mastered it beautifully.
My room was simply stunning. Bathed in natural sunshine, with an incredible view of the palm trees swaying outside, it felt like a private sanctuary. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, combining elegance with comfort. Room service was exceptionally attentive. Anything I requested was delivered promptly and always with a smile.
The culinary experience was exquisite. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour, reflecting the high standards that Nobu is known for. Dining there was truly a highlight of my stay.
As a fitness professional, I was also deeply impressed by the facilities. The gym is excellent and fully equipped. The Pilates reformer studio is outstanding, allowing me to maintain my training routine in a beautiful environment. The hammam experience was equally incredible, offering a truly authentic and rejuvenating moment of relaxation.
Nobu Marrakech delivers a level of warmth, elegance, and excellence that is rare to find. This stay exceeded my expectations in every way, and I am already looking forward to returning in March.
An unforgettable first experience in Morocco.
Our stay at Nobu Hotel Marrakech was simply exceptional.
From the very first reservation call to the warm welcome on arrival, everything felt effortless and genuinely heartfelt. What stood out most was the people — every conversation felt real, every interaction thoughtful.
Breakfast each morning was beautiful, the drivers were gracious and professional, and housekeeping kept our room immaculate throughout. A very special thank you to Jamal, whose concierge recommendations were flawless — each dinner and excursion better than the last. He made our time in Marrakech feel perfectly curated.
There is something truly warm about the culture here, led by Hassan and his team. It’s elegant but never pretentious, polished yet personal.
We leave feeling grateful — and already wanting to return
Our stay at Nobu Hotel Marrakech was elevated from lovely to exceptional because of one person: Jamal, our concierge.
When we inquired about arranging a guide, Jamal didn’t default to selling us a full-day itinerary. Instead, he asked thoughtful questions — what mattered to us, what we enjoyed, what we hoped to feel. He truly listened. Then he connected us with the very best people: Ben, our driver, and Rachid, our guide, who took us through the Medina and around the souks with insight, humour, and total authenticity.
Rachid didn’t just “show” us Marrakech… he enriched it. He helped us barter for a hand-carved copper lantern, guided us to the purest spices, oils, and teas, and offered dining suggestions along the way. Everything felt genuine, never transactional. Warmth, laughter, cultural depth… the experience was seamless. Jamal also secured dinner reservations wherever we requested; his network and relationships are clearly impressive.
The hotel itself delivers on quality. The gym is top level.. spotless, beautifully equipped, and complete with three reformers. I have never stayed at a hotel with a dedicated Pilates studio; I was in heaven. The rooms were pristine, stocked with lovely products, and turndown service included glass-bottled water plus homemade dark chocolate and dates filled with walnut on our second night… such a thoughtful touch.
The breakfast was delicious, with vibrant fresh juices, and I was especially grateful for a dedicated vegan station. Throughout our stay during Ramadan, no less, every member of staff smiled, accommodated, and genuinely wanted to please. Maintaining that level of service in the heat and while fasting deserves real respect.
The only downside was the loud rooftop music during the day. It felt more Ibiza than Marrakech. While we expected a lively atmosphere in the evening, during the daytime we would have loved to hear the water flowing from the waterfall feature in the pool and the birds instead. We also had pizza one afternoon that could have been improved… the crust and sauce fell short, but even then, our server was so warm and sincere that it softened the critique.
Overall, we were deeply impressed. The kindness, authenticity, and attentiveness of the team stood out in every interaction. We will absolutely return and next time, we’ll use the hotel’s car service from the start.
If you are a smoker you will love the hotel as smoking is allowed in the bar ground floor,
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Nobu hotel. It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff are extremely helpful. I would like to say a special thank you to Hussain , who is part of the concierge team. He looked after us during our 3 day stay. We will definitely be returning.
Not up to the mark as compared to other Nobu. Not a good value for money. Service is inconsistent - some good, some very green. Had multiple issues with the charges - carefully check before you sign off.
Amex perks very minimal no upgrades or extended check out. Limited places to use the credit.
Roof top bar was very good, though
The best place in Marrakech! We will definitely be back
On the plus-side:- Rooms are big. In-room amenities, superb. Breakfast is fantastic (Especially with the amiable Nasima, serving! She amazingly, always seems to pre-empt the needs of the guests. Always with a smile.)
HOWEVER!!!!!
If you need any sleep and rest; then this hotel is NOT for you.
Even in my first-floor room, you can hear the trance/techno music from the roof-top bar, LOUDLY thumping-away, pass midnight and well into the early hours. (Dread to think, what it's like in the rooms, on the upper floors)
As a result I could not sleep at all; which ruined my following day of activities.
Then having to search-for and buy ear-plugs, to use for the remainder of my stay in this '5-star hotel'; is ironic and rather comical!
At check-out; the front-desk staff obviously know of this problem, but they just gave me a shrug. No apologies.
Does Nobu NOT care about the well-being of it's paying guests??? Surely, isn't a '5-star hotel' meant to be conducive for a good sleep and relaxation?? Nobu Marrakesh can't seem to decide whether it wants to be a rave-up, loud, all-night night-club... or a high-end hotel.
Perhaps invest in EFFECTIVE noise-insulation for the rooms??
Nassima, Moatossim , Kaoutar, Abdelghofour, Adnane, Jawad, Youssef and mohcine
I wanted to thank all the names above for a very heartwarming experience they provided my mom and I during our stay. They made us feel like we were all part of one happy family having a great time together.
Thank you for all your help and support and we will see you soon again for sure.
