Holiday Inn Express & Suites Rochester – Mayo Clinic Area by IHG

The staff were very helpful and professional. It was noisy but that was because it was close to Mayo.

I definitely would stay there again. I even expected my stay 1 more night. Love how you can walk to St. Marys Hospital. Therecare also a lot of places to eat right by there. Staff was ver friendly!

Bed was very comfortable but older hotel and cleanliness of common areas could’ve been better.

Upon arriving everything looked clean and nice. However our room was dirty and run down. There was stuff on our carpet, cereal and hair on the bathroom floor, as well as a build up of dust and debris behind the door, and the floor space between our bed and night stand had a build up of dust and debris. There was also a bug hanging out on one of our beds. Thankfully we didnt get bites or anything, but i had a hard time sleeping not knowing what kind of bug it was. Our shades had worn holes in them and when the ac kicked on ot filled the room with a musky smell. The continental breakfast was great though. Even the coffee was good.

My children and I were in town for a concert and we couldn’t camp another night; I called early in the morning and asked if there were any rooms that we could check into right away because we had barely slept, the woman at the front desk that day was absolutely wonderful, she waited on the phone with me to make sure my reservation came through and she assigned us a room that we could check into early. 10/10 Will definitely be back.

The elevator did not work the pool area was closed, some of the staff were rude

The elevator was broke down. The good was terry and the bed was as hard as a board .

We looked at many hotels and even checked into one and quickly left. We checked into Fairfield last minute and we are so happy we did. The property is conveniently located near Mayo properties and the shuttle was on time every day. The entire hotel is clean and feels safe. The room was clean, the housekeepers visited daily and replenished towels and supplies. No mold, no funny smells. The room we stayed in seemed remodeled and new. This hotel is top of the list for when we go to Mayo and we will be returning every time. This is the best place to stay in town, in my opinion.

The elevator was broken, we were placed on the 3rd floor even though my wife has medical issues (in town for Mayo visit). Hot tub was out of service, fan in the bathroom didnt work, coffee machine in room was filled with mold so didnt use it, ice machine on our floor didnt work. NOT IMPRESSED.

This property is nice and clean. It has lots of food options within walking distance. Staff is always great!
