The Staff is professional and kind. the Spa treatment was great. The Pool is amazing
There are thermostats in the rooms, but don’t bother to use them. The room won’t get cooler than 23C (73.4F). They’ll send someone up when you complain, but it’s a waste of time and they know it. It was just too hot to sleep.
The pool closes at 5:00, so if you want to swim between sightseeing and dinner, you’re out of luck.
We are at the hotel two nights and ate at the hotel both nights. Seems to me the cooks never ate a gracious meal and probably never opened a cookbook. The first night vegetables and meat were drowned in bbq sauce. The second night, a slab of smelly duck along side mashed potatoes, probably the least appetizing dinner I’ve ever seen.
I really wanted to like this hotel. I couldn’t.
This is one of the most beautiful hotels ever. Very friendly staff and exceptionally maintained. Pool is fantastic (warm). We will definitely come back.
We spent two nights at the hotel earlier this week, and we had a fantastic stay. The hotel has just recently started taking guests again after serving as home for displaced people from the north for 14 months. As a result, they've done a thorough cleaning and rejuvenating job to get the place back up and running. The room was super-clean and comfortable and everything worked fine. The hotel is only 25 years old, but looks and feels like a mansion built 100 years ago. It is really majestic on the outside and very comfortable and grand on the inside. We got a great rate (for Israel--everything is relative) and we were upgraded to a large garden room with a view and a balcony. The hotel is literally in the Birya Forest. The grounds are beautiful. There is tons of inviting space both inside and outside for lounging around. We spent a lot of time both driving and walking in the forest. Everything is green and the wildflowers are in bloom. Because the hotel is just getting going again, the dining room is not serving dinner yet. The breakfast buffet is terrific and has a huge variety of food. We had a great dinner at Bat Ya'ar and a light lunch at The House at the Edge of the Landscape (lousy translation) just outside of Amuka. Both have terrific views and are fun places. If you are looking for a few very relaxing and enjoyable days in a unique hotel and in a great location, I highly recommend Bayit Bagalil.
There’s NO service at all. Paying $850 usd per night and there’s no staff to carry your luggage, park the car, any help at all. The property it’s very bad conditions and it will get worst. Ther no maintenance at all. The food it’s very low quality and not presentable.
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral für Ausflüge in der Galil. Schade ist das relativ wenig Personal gut Englisch spricht.
Wonderful hotel in just the most beautiful location! We took a room with a jacuzzi bath (tricky to climb into to turn on the water and to climb out from- luckily there's a sturdy handrail!). The hotel is just beautifully appointed, marble flag stone floors, spacious sofas. The staff is excellent, attentive and helpful. Love that there are dried fruits, biscuit jars, and a decorative urn with boiling water for any type of tea or coffee you could desire 24/7. Pool area wonderful too. Would have liked pancakes/ waffle option at breakfast, that's only minor minus.Looking forward to a return visit in the not too distant future!
The hotel is beautiful, but the service and staff is horrendous. The staff is rude and insolent. It ruined the experience for me.
stayed one night, rooms are very specious, clean and confrotable, public area are very nice, very cosy and inviting. Spa at the hotel is great - enjoyed it treatment.
breakfast is very good. hotel is in middle of a beautiful forest, we loved the place.
The hotel is on a hill and from the rooms you can see the Kineret lake, Hula valley and the Golan heights. The front desk is very atentive. The ambience is charming, with fruits, juice and sparkling wine available free for the guest. The rooms are very large, with an impressive beds and linens. Breakfast is fantastic, with high quality food, including variety of cheese, fruits, herings, salmon, eggs, cakes...Garden plenty of trees and flowers. A very nice swimming pool.
Found bugs next to the beds. Hair in the towels. Linen is stained. Dirty everywhere. Literally everywhere, toothpaste and nail polish marks on the sink. And last but not least, the food is old and disgusting. Pls stay anyway!!

The view is increduble nice. You can see the Hula valley, the Kineret lake and the Golan heights from the room balcony.
Hotel is beautiful
Pool is amazing
Location great with fantastic views
getting 1 star because of service, primarily from the manager Akram. We forgot some clothing in the closet of our room As we live over 4 hours from hotel, asked Akram to send us by mail (at my expense). was told this could not be done but could be brough to the Herbert Samuel location in Jerusalem. Never heard back from Akram. Left 3 messages at phone reception. Finally got Akram on the phone and he says he doesn't know what I'm talking about, he never got messages (this is apparently not his fault), and he didn't know how to get in touch with me (he himself took my phone number). and now when finally got him on the phone, he claims too busy to help me.
completely soured the experience. great hotel. unprofessional and awful service by the manager.
Our air conditioning didn’t work at night. Nobody was there to fix it or to change room. Couldn’t sleep at night, was too hot.
Breakfast was missing some elements like coffee beens for espresso or butter.
I was recommended by a friend on this hotel for a nice quiet weekend. Actually me and my wife wanted an isolated hotel to log out from routine and we wanted if to be a quality hotel.
In general the hotel is beautiful and has a unique Galilee design. The rooms are very spacious, and clean . Bed and all amenities were to our satisfaction. Breakfast is nice, though it can be better regarding a nice boutique hotel. Theres a big and free parking at the hotel. The pool is nice but a little small.
Overall experience was very good and satisfying. ❤️
amazing hotel!
clean, grounds are beautiful. staff very helpful. pool is absolutely beautiful with view of the kinneret
breakfast was amazing
