Awesome location, clean, very friendly staff, great hot tub with a covered balcony over the couches, great for a large
Pros:

Perfect location , clean, quiet rooms despite being so close to the Trevi fountain, restaurants and shops. Great bathrooms and comfortable beds, AC, Staff were awesome and accommodating for our large family in 4 rooms. Loved the hot tub and shaded balcony for the 40C temperature.

Cons:

To close to the gelato shops, the 8 grandkids loved it!

Disappointing Hotel
Pros:

Hotel is old and dated. Needs a major renovation. Washroom had mold on baseboards and tile. Location is super busy right on the path to Trevi fountain.

Dirty, shabby with dangerous stairs in places. Convenient position.
Pros:

Two rooms were booked for us as a family by Cruise 118. This hotel is very central and has very helpful staff. The breakfast is adequate.
The rooms were not 3* unfortunately. One was a bedroom up a lane at the side of the hotel. The other was within the hotel but dirty with footmarks going up one bedroom wall. There was a stained toilet and black mold in the bathroom. Unfortunately all rooms had a few steps to reach them because it is a historic building. There were no handrails for the steps. There is no lounge should you wish to escape the heat for a few hours during the day. All air conditioning is governed by the front desk - my room did not fall beneath 24C. I shall not be recommending this hotel.

Excellent location
Pros:

An excellent base for exploring the historic heart of Rome, as most of the tourist sites are within easy walking distance. The wait staff within the hotel deserve a special mention for marking my wife’s birthday, a very simple gesture which meant so much to her. The reception staff were helpful and provided advice on how to get about Rome using public transport, which is both cheap and convenient. Driving through the smaller streets in one of the smaller bus’s is an expensive not to be missed.

Great location, friendly staff
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trevi Palace Hotel. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of many of Rome's major attractions. Despite being in the heart of the city, the hotel was surprisingly quiet.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the air conditioning was excellent - a real blessing during the July heat.

We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it. 🇮🇹

Ideal location
Pros:

The location of this hotel is perfect. It’s very central and literally a minute walk from the Trevi Fountain.
The only down side to it, the rooms are extremely small. If you’re only looking for a base then it’s perfect but having two big suites meant we had no room to move around at all. The bathroom and shower are very small as well.
Breakfast was very basic, but edible. There are places just outside of the hotel that you can get a delicious Italian breakfast from.
I haven’t taken any photos as there was no room to move sorry!
We enjoyed our stay for what it was just bed to sleep in after busy days of exploring.
The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Pros:

הצוות היה מדהים, תמיד חייך, תמיד עזר והשיב על שאלות. שירות מכל הלב. המיקום של המלון מושלם, כמה שניות ממזרקת טרווי. החדר היה נקי.

For the price not worth it
Pros:

Great location if looking to be right by Trevi fountain

Cons:

AC did not work well and it was 95 degrees outside. The lights in our kids room didn’t work at all. They bathed in the dark. We were given a fan to cool off the room. A desk fan.

Disappointing Stay Due to Noise, Poor Sleep, and Outdated Facilities
Pros:

We stayed at Trevi Palace Luxury Inn for 4 days and unfortunately left feeling extremely tired due to the lack of sleep throughout our stay.

The biggest issue was the noise. The rooms are incredibly noisy because the windows are not properly double glazed, so you hear traffic and city noise all night long as the hotel is right in the middle of the city centre. Even the reception staff acknowledged this and provided ear plugs because, apparently, guests complain about it regularly. Unfortunately, even with ear plugs it was still very difficult to sleep.

The air conditioning unit was also very noisy and seemed old and inefficient, adding even more disturbance during the night.

Breakfast was very disappointing. The coffee was especially awful, it neither smelled nor tasted like proper coffee.

Cleanliness throughout the hotel also needs improvement. The room did not feel particularly clean, the cupboards were barely functional, and the lifts were dirty. Overall, the hotel feels very tired and in need of major renovation throughout.

On a positive note, the staff were polite, friendly, and genuinely tried to help wherever they could.

Sadly, despite the excellent location, we would not stay here again due to the noise, poor sleep quality, and overall condition of the hotel

Ideally situated hotel.
Pros:

Lovely large room, the hotel is well situated.
Unfortunately a few issues with the room.
There was a strange smell everytime you walked in to the room, not sure if this was from the sofa or something else.
The sofa could do with being changed to a bit more upto date one. The TV had no English channels or radio station which was quite disappointing.
All the curtains need to be replaced as they are falling off the rails.
A kettle in the room would be a better idea rather than the coffee pod machine, as not everyone drinks coffee, and would prefer tea.
There was no price list in the room for the items in the fridge.
The kitchen does not seem to be of any use and the space could be used for drinks station.
When you open the patio doors the area there could do with a tidy up.

The staff were lovely very accommodating, towels were changed everyday, beds made everyday.
Nothing was to much trouble.
The breakfast staff were always on hand for anything you needed.

Luxury Inn is far fetched
Pros:

We were 2 couples. Arriving after a 23 hour flight we were told the 2 rooms booked months ago were not available. Our only choice was the “penthouse suite” to share. One bed was a fold out sofa. On the return visit after our cruise we eventually got 2 rooms. They had deep shower over baths which were very dangerous for older folk. The safety bar was broken in the bath. The hairdryer overheated after a minute then didn’t work at all. It felt like we were in Fawlty towers. Staff were nice on second visit but that doesn’t make up for a tacky hotel certainly not a luxury inn.

Fantastic location and comfy beds
Pros:

It was a 1 minute walk to Trevi Fountain - so well located! The bed was really comfy

Cons:

I requested twin beds (I was travelling with my dad) but this wasn’t set up in our room. We also had no hot water one evening and there was very little communication from the front desk on when this would be restored (it was fixed the next lunchtime).

Adequate
Pros:

The location was very good, only a minute or so away from the Trevi Fountain, but this does mean it’s very busy in the streets around the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Taking into account it is an old building, our room, Botticelli 3, was located at the rear of the building and quiet although the walls were paper thin. It was definitely not luxury or four star In our opinion. The room was quite small, has a fridge but is in dire need of a full makeover. The en-suite and had both a bath and shower, which although appeared clean, on closer inspection, the shower had a lot of mould. It also housed the hair dryer which was not very powerful at all. The bed was comfortable, however there was only one socket in the room by the kettle. Breakfast was good but the area was cramped and even the cereal/fruit bowls were very small.
This was a tourist trip to Rome to see the sights, which we did. The hotel was only a sleeping, breakfast area for us so it was not a major part of our holiday. As previously mentioned we do not think this is a luxury four star hotel in our opinion but you pay Rome prices.
