Loved it!
Pros:

This place is great! When we started to plan our trip to Florence we couldn't believe the high cost of the hotels there...so we decided to stay in Prato because it's less than 30 min. in a train that runs few times every hour for under $3 each way. 10 min. walk from the train station Prato Centrale to this family run old school hotel. Prato is also great historic town with restaurants and all you need if you decide to eat there. What a great stay. Saved us over $1000 in our 7 day trip. Thanks!!!

Pros:

Middle of a ten day holiday
Pros:

Great little hotel, family run. Everybody was very helpful, the room was very clean. With a/c if needed. Although we only stayed for three nights bedding was changed every day. Don't expect the Ritz, but it has everything you need.
The old part of Prato is excellent with plenty of restaurants. Its only 20mins by train to Florence so its easy to get around, good to get back to the hotel in the evening where you could get away from the crowds,

Great little hotel in center!
Pros:

We stayed 2 nights in Prato and really enjoyed the helpfulness of the small simple hotel family management team! Nice clean functional room, good location on the edge of the medieval center of town and easy walking distance to all attractions.

Accogliente hotel in una città tutta da scoprire
Pros:

L’albergo è molto accogliente e ben curato: camera spaziosa, pulizia eccellente e personale gentilissimo. Prato è una piccola città, sconosciuta ai più, ma molto graziosa.

Nice family-driven hotel in the old town
Pros:

This is a nice hotel in the old town of Prato, by the Piazza San Marco. Train station is close by, as well as the sightseeing-stops of the old town. The family who runs the hotel makes the stay something extra, with friendly and extravagant service. Practice your "buongiorno", "buonasera" and "grazie" and you'll have a very pleasant stay.

Best choice ever!
Pros:

We have perfect 6-night stays here. This is a family-run hotel and the hostess is very friendly and helpful. Her father who serves our breakfast is an adorable grandpa. The whole stay in this hotel is a very homey and relaxing experience. The Free Wi-Fi connection is also very satisfactory. The location is great and there's a supermarket nearby. This is a good base for visiting towns in Tuscany such as Florence, Pistoia, Lucca, etc. Highly recommended!

would visit again
Pros:

Stefano and his family could not have been nicer. I had a room with a bathroom, and as a bonus it had it's own balcony with a glimpse of the medieval wall that encloses Prato. Safe for a person staying on their own, it has a security door. Very quiet and very effective air con as it was over 30 deg C every day. Amazing price, I couldn't fault it at only 2 stars.
