Beautiful town and superb hikes.
Pros:

The outdoor yard overlooking Ortissi was beautiful to have breakfast.

Cons:

The location of the hotel was a steep hike for 1/2 mile from my original bus stop with no mention of how to arrive alternatively using a local bus. When asking for information on how to catch a bus the office gentleman staff just told me to go look it up. I had overheard the young lady the evening prior helping a woman figure out the bus times but he refused to. Italian buses don’t run on sny sort of “tight” schedule so transportation was difficult. I also had to haul my luggage up three flights of stairs after hauling it up the steep mountain roads.
Arrive only with backpack unless you want to spend 50 euros on a taxi.

Top Lage, aber mit Potenzial nach oben

Pro: Top Lage - fussläufig zu Bergbahnen und in die Fußgängerzone, freundliches Personal, Parkplätze vorhanden. Ganz toll war auch die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer / vom Bett aus auf die Berge, die kaum zu toppen ist. Der Garten ist wunderschön gepflegt und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Es gibt eine Bar, bei der man abends auch gut noch leckere Getränke genießen kann.

Cons:

Contra: Die Einrichtung ist alt und es gibt quasi keinerlei Extras im Zimmer - da gibt es noch viel Potential nach oben, da das Haus echt schön ist. Das Bad war eigentlich eine Hartplastikkabine. Das Frühstück war ok, aber nichts wirklich Besonderes für die 260€/Nacht, die wir bezahlt haben - die Auswahl ist klein, die Brötchen und Croissants waren bei unserem Aufenthalt eher trocken.
Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war problematisch, da auf Booking.com kostenlos ein Früh-CheckIn bei der Buchung dabei ist. Das Hotel bietet dies aber gar nicht an. Zudem kostet eine späte Anreise zwischen 35€-100€ (je nach Uhrzeit), was nicht sehr kundenfreundlich ist.

Pros:

Staff was very friendly, and rooms were clean. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our window. The breakfast was very delicious with lots of variety.

Okej prisvärt för att vara i Ortisei.
Pros:

Charmig byggnad, fin trädgård, väldigt trevlig frukostpersonal, god frukost.

Cons:

Gammal och trasig inredning. Trasig lampa och trasigt elementskydd i rummet. När jag påtalade det för receptionen konstaterade han att jag inte behövde ha en fungerande lampa i hallen och sedan förklarade han för mig hur jag skulle laga elementskyddet.

Jag lät elementskyddat vara, de får laga det själva.

Racist Staff Dislikes Asians
Pros:

Racist staff, I don't recommend staying here if you are Asian. You get 1 shampoo packet every day. I did not get mine one day. I ask the front desk for one, the guy with glasses starts complaining Asians always use too many. Very bizarre exchange, when I had only asked for 1 and didn't have any shampoo after a hike. I walk away and he starts laughing. Very gross interaction, no apology offered.

인종차별적인 직원이 있습니다. 아시아인이라면 이곳에 머무는 것을 추천하지 않습니다. 매일 샴푸 1회용 팩을 하나씩 주는데, 하루는 받지 못해서 프런트 데스크에 요청했더니 안경 쓴 직원이 아시아인들은 항상 샴푸를 너무 많이 쓴다며 불평을 늘어놓더군요. 등산 후 샴푸가 없어 딱 하나만 달라고 했을 뿐인데 정말 황당한 반응이었습니다. 제가 자리를 뜨자 그 직원은 비웃기까지 했습니다. 사과 한마디 없이 정말 불쾌하고 기분 나쁜 경험이었습니다.

Room 501 on third floor with no elevator. Pump or generator noise the entire night. Room is very dated and needs repairs. Closet would not close.
