Pros:

El apartamento estaba super bien, la cama cómoda, tenía una terracita con vistas al jardín en la que se estaba de maravilla, tranquilo, con aparcamiento. Tenía bastante menaje en la cocina y nevera, hervidor de agua, tostador... para ser perfecto le faltaría una nesspreso, pero tenia cafetera de filtro. También te daban toallas de playa.
La piscina estaba también muy bien y muy tranquila y las vistas eran impresionantes. La distancia al centro unos 15-20 minutos andando, pero con mucha cuesta, por lo que para volver soliamos pillar uber, que por 5e te deja en el hotel o bajamos la cuesta con el coche y ya nos movíamos a pie por el centro.

Ce séjour était à la hauteur de nos attentes
Pros:

La vue sur mer de l'appartement.
La piscine très agréable en fin de journée.
La gentillesse du personnel et personnel d'entretien. Toujours souriant.
La propreté de l'immeuble, escalier petit salon entre les étages, ça sent bon et le propre quand on rentre.
Le jardin est joliment fleuri et bien entretenu.

Cons:

Le bruit constant des ballons contre les grilles dans la cour de l'école la journée.
Un problème d'insonorisation, le matin très tôt, les bruits de l'appartement du dessous, bruits de chaises, placards et portes qui claquent.
L'eau chaude est aléatoire au moment de la douche en fin de journée. Il manque des volets ou stores occultants pour la chambre.
Les prix proposés au bar sont élevés :
Le café ou tout petit paquet de chips à 2€, 15 € le hamburger simple (même si fait maison) nous a semblé un peu excessif.

The place to be in Funchal 😍
Pros:

Vue superbe sur Funchal, au calme, appartement équipé du nécessaire pour séjourner (kitchenette équipée). Piscine très agréable, grand parking gratuit. Très proche du centre (attention c’est très pentu). Nous occupions la chambre 10 dans le Garden appartement, très spacieuse, draps, serviettes de toilettes et de plage fournies. Résidence en dehors des gros complexes hôteliers situés plus à l’ouest de Funchal.
Je me répète mais cette vue… incroyable! Tous les jours j’admirai

Cons:

Il n’y a pas de volet et les rideaux ne sont pas occultants

Skvělé klidné ubytování s bazénem
Pros:

Krásný výhled na moře. Velký bazén s lehátky. Parkoviště. Klidná lokalita a za půl hodiny jste pěšky v centru.

Pros:

Prachtig uitzicht vanadf het balkon. Ook een groot zwembad. Persoon heel vriendelijk.

Cons:

Temperatuurregeling van douche was heel moeilijk. De laatste dag was er ook geen warm water. De kamer was ook heel ruim en bevatte zeker alle benodigheden, maar niet supergezellig. Ook de parking was aan de kleine kant, maar je kon perfect ook op straat parkeren.

Fijne plek op loop afstand van de stad
Pros:

Familie business, personeel heel aardig. Zwembad met prachtig uitzicht. Cafetje bij zwembad en zitjes op balkon en in de tuin. Mooie tuin met bloemen, bananenbomer. Kamer was ruim, goede bedden, schoon. 20 min lopen naar Funchal centrum.

A charming, quiet, stunning retreat
Pros:

I was blown away by the beauty of this place! A quiet peaceful and stunning retreat in the middle of a really cool community high up from downtown Funchal. They have a poolside cafe great for drinks and snacks. Parking was a great plus too.

Cons:

If you are renting a car - you must be a very experienced driver to drive the tiny streets and corners to get to this place - but this is true for all of Madeira not just this location! You can walk up to this location from Funchal (20mins) but be prepared for a lot of hills (and cool views)!

Slechte prijs-kwaliteit verhouding
Pros:

Het uitzicht was mooi (moet je wel een steile wandeling vanaf het centrum voor maken), het keukengerei was in orde en het zwembad was lekker.

Cons:

Verouderde badkamer: douchegordijn; veel kapotte tegels; deksel van stortbak van wc zat los waardoor moeilijk doortrekken; tl-lamp als licht bij spiegel.
Verouderde keuken, super kleine en oude televisie, deurklink bij slaapkamer zat los, ligbedjes bij het zwembad waren van hard plastic en gedateerd.

Great apartment, please replace the curtains in the room.
Pros:

The location is perfect with a nice bar and view over the city. Also the swimming pool is amazing.

Cons:

The curtains in the room were way too light, please replace them with curtains that actually block the sun. Everything else was perfect.
