Pros:

La ubicación es muy buena. Tiene parking privado sin coste adicional. El personal muy servicial. No hay ruidos, muy tranquilo. Ideal si buscas alojamiento para poder descansar y pasarte el dia haciendo turismo. Las instalaciones son antiguas pero todo muy limpio. Calidad precio adecuado.

A property with amazing views & friendly staff.
Pros:

I booked this property very last minute after my flight home was cancelled due to poor weather, and despite the 11pm booking/check-in time, the property responded quickly and the lady (who I think I woke up!) was very welcoming on my late arrival.

The property itself is obviously a traditional Quinta-style complex with well kept gardens and amazing views of Funchal. My apartment was clean, comfortable, and included useful basics such as coffee sachets and shower gel. I also appreciated the helpful information booklet in the room, which included bus times, nearby shops, and check-in/out details.

There is a café/bar area above the heated pool serving drinks and light snacks, and all of the staff I met there were so welcoming. After a stressful evening of flight cancellations at the airport, that was really appreciated the following day here.

I had already spent several nights in the centre of Funchal, but I recommend splitting your stay, as this area offers a quieter atmosphere and amazing views.

Cons:

Yes, the walk back uphill is very steep. Hence the good views. But buses, taxis, and Bolt are inexpensive and simple to use.
Nothing to dislike!

Majoitus hyvällä sijainnilla ja hinta-laatusuhteella
Pros:

Siisti ja tilava huoneisto, jossa kaikki tarpeellinen lomaan (astiat, astianpesutarvikkeet, erilliset kylpy- ja allaspyyhkeet). Astiasto riitti hyvin aamupalan valmistukseen (söimme muut ateriat ulkona). Allasalueelta upea näkymä ja altaan vesi lämmitetty. Huoneessa kävi joka toinen päivä siivooja, joka oli vaihtanut pyyhkeet ja pedannut sängyt. Makuuhuoneesta löytyi erillinen patteri tarvittaessa lämmitystä varten. Majoitus hyvällä sijainnilla, helppo kävellä alas keskustaan ja omalle autolle löytyi aina parkkipaikka pihasta. Pieni kauppa ja kahvila/leipomo rinteessä alempana. Ylempänä isompi kauppa, jossa hitusen parempi valikoima. Työntekijät ystävällisiä ja avuliaita. Majoitus tarjoaa rahalle vastinetta.

Cons:

Ei mitään moitteita, mistä en olisi tiennyt etukäteen. Komppaan aiempia palautteita, että kylpyhuoneet tarvitsevat remonttia. Kosteus päässyt kylpyhuoneesta läpi makuuhuoneeseen (turvonneet kohdat seinässä). Kylpyhuoneessa ei valmiiksi käsisaippuaa, mutta kaupasta saa muutamalla eurolla eli ei liene ongelma.😊

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok
Pros:

Wir hatten ein sauberes Apartment, also mit Küche. tolle Aussicht auf den Hafen, die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt und wir haben uns rundum sicher dort gefühlt. Kostenloser Parkplatz und heißes Duschwasser.
Wir durften nach Rücksprache früher einchecken.
+ Instantkaffee + 0,2l Milch

Cons:

Das Mobiliar war recht veraltet, im Bad gibt es kein Bidet, die Einzelbetten waren nicht sehr bequem. Was mich sehr gestört hat: kein Salz, kein Öl, kein Kaffeefilter. Man kann also nicht mal einen Salat anrichten. Dabei sind das so günstige Sachen, die den kleinen und feinen Unterschied machen.

Heerlijk!
Pros:

Het appartement is misschien wel wat gedateerd, maar het is super schoon en er is alles wat je nodig hebt voor een paar dagen. De bedden liggen prima en de douche os heerlijk warm. De eigenaressen en het personeel zijn super vriendelijk, komen een praatje met je maken en helpen je met vragen die je hebt. Het zwembad hebben we niet gebruikt maar zag er prima uit en was verwarmd. Er is een klein barretje bij t zwembad waar je wat te drinken en een klein hapje kunt bestellen. Er is parkeerplaats op eigen terrein en langs de straat. Er is een heel lekker bakker/cafetaria een stukje naar beneden in de straat. Daar zit ook een klein supermarktje waar je wat kleine dingetjes kunt kopen voor een paar dagen. Er gaat een bus van naast het complex rechtstreeks naar de boulevard (naast de kabelbaan) en terug. Geen auto nodig in Funchal. Als we nog eens naar Madeira komen komen we hier zeker terug.

Die Anlage und die Lage haben uns sehr gut gefallen.
Der Ausblick auf die Stadt ist toll. Die Altstadt ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Ist auch ein gutes Fitness Training.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Wir würden in der Anlage wieder eine Unterkunft buchen.

Very happy with visit, and highly recommend this complex.
Pros:

We were delighted with the views and the facilities of the Quinta Mae complex. Our villa had everything we needed to make us comfortable, and to enable us to self-cater. The pool area was most attractive and the pool was large enough and warm enough for a great swim.

Cons:

The back bedroom got a lot of noise between 7.45 and 15.30 from the school opposite. However, if I kept the windows and shutters closed in that room, this was not a problem.

Insgesamt war es trotz der berechtigten Kritik an der Wohnungsausstattung eine gute Woche.
Pros:

Gut und nicht gut zusammengefasst: Die Lage der Wohnung war gut, die Ausstattung allerdings nicht, knarrende Badezimmertüre, WC-Spülkasten funktionierte nicht richtig (vermutlich verkalkt, Schwimmer müsste überprüft werden), Mobiliar sehr in die Jahre gekommen und für den Wohnungspreis viel zu einfach. Das war richtig schlecht.
Zu wenig Geschirr und keine kleinen Messer, auch hier wurde am falschen Ende gespart. Mit wenig Aufwand kann hier ein wesentlich positiverer Eindruck hinterlassen werden.
Absolut positiv war der Swimmingpool. Dieser war gepflegt und die Lage mit schöner Aussicht war klasse. Das Personal war
freundlich.
