Perfecte ligging met gratis parkeren op eigen terrein.
Pros:

Geweldige ligging op loopafstand van het centrum van Funchal. Terugweg wel pittig maar goed te doen. Je kunt ook de bus nemen die stopt bij het complex. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het zwembad en ook vanaf de meeste balkons. Parkeren achter poort op eigen terrein. Bakker voor vers brood op 5 min. lopen. Complex wordt goed onderhouden en is schoon en netjes.
Kleine bar bij het zwembad voor ijs drank en snacks met verhoogd terras met uitzicht over de stad, cruisehaven en de zee. Handdoeken worden om de dag verwisseld en ook het appartement wordt gepoetst. Er liggen badhanddoeken voor bij het zwembad. Receptie is bemand voor eventuele vragen of boeken van excursies.

Cons:

Verwacht geen modern appartement. De inrichting en de badkamer is verouderd maar schoon en volledig ingericht.

Pros:

Sehr gute Lage in Funchal. Die Altstadt von Funchal ist fußläufig erreichbar (bergab). Für die Rückfahrt (bergauf) kann ein Bus genommen werden. Toller Ausblick auf Funchal. Schön angelegter, beheizter Pool. Gute Parkmöglichkeit für Mietwagen. Freundliches Personal .

Cons:

Wir waren in einem Apartment in der "Winepress Area" untergebracht. Das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zwar sehr sauber, aber eine Renovierung wäre notwendig.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in schöner alter Quinta.
Pros:

Sehr schöne Lage oberhalb Funchals, in die Stadt muss man ca. 130 Höhenmeter die Straße herabsteigen oder mit dem Bus fahren. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und es gibt ein nettes Café mit Snacks und Getränken auf dem Gelände. Generell ist das Gelände der Quinta sehr hübsch bepflanzt und gestaltet.

Prachtige ligging op heuvelhoogte, mooie tuin en uitzicht op zee.
Pros:

Zeer mooie tuin, verwarmd zwembad, uitzicht op zee, zalig.
Kamers met balkon, jammer van de hevige wind.
Gezellige bar bij zwembad om snack te eten.
Vriendelijke dame bij de receptie, steeds bereikbaar.
Bushalte om de hoek. Centrum Funchal op 5min.

Cons:

Kamers zijn praktisch ingericht maar gedateerd. Nieuwe zetel van IKEA, ok.
Eettafel te klein, TV -scherm = computerscherm => onaangenaam!
Slaapkamer heeft geen verduisteringsgordijn, nog aan te passen bij vernieuwing!
Bedden zijn breed = TOP! *Matrassen van slechte kwaliteit -> IKEA aan te raden zonder ijzeren vering!

Just amazing. If we return to Funchal one day we will come back to this place without hesitation!
Pros:

The Quinta was amazing! Large apartments, very clean, beautiful gardens and pool area. The receptionist was so kind and very helpful.
The place is perfect to go down to Funchal centre. Very quiet area too. Swimming pool amazing too!

Cons:

Apartments are a bit noisy when neighbors do not pay attention.

Good value for money
Pros:

Stay friendly and helpful, swimming pool excellent (if a little cold), food was nice from the clubhouse. Apartment was spacious.

Cons:

A few Ants around the kitchen area but dealt with promptly by the staff The sofa bed didn't have supporting legs on the first night so was flimsy. The bed was fixed the next day once reported. Location as advertised but needed a taxi from the old town back up to the apartments due to the hills.Thought our room was advertised as sea view but we couldn't see it from our balcony on the ground floor.

Pros:

We got a bigger room than booked, for the same price. Nice view from the balcony in the appartment. Super quiet place. Really nice swimpool (no closing hours) and open in end November. Friendly staff. Quiet area (around 30min up hill from the center, so you might need car/transport to go to the center of Funchal) and convenient for us.

Cons:

We found a lot of ants in the bathroom the first night. We cleaned them but we still found quite a few of them in the bathroom, kitchen area and in the fridge over the next days, without having cooked (never in the room). Since it was over a holiday period, reception was closed and we didnt bother the staff informing them.
