Lovely large room. Excellent, welcoming service. Great hospitality in the morning for breakfast and check-out.
Freddy was always helpful. Pastry chef excellent
Palazzo di epoca ben ristrutturato come hotel. Camere ampie e moderne, bagno nuovo e funzionale, letto king size molto comodo. Stanza silenziosa.
Would recommend it.
Flott hotell. Anonymt utvendig flott innvendig.
Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt betjening.
Slitt hotell, i en trang gate uten parkering. Elendig frokost, og middelmådig betjening.
Spacious, modern room with two balconies and a sea view. Soft and very comfortable big bed. Beautiful and unique hotel. Friendly staff. Lovely place to stay!
la colazione era ottima e il personale gentilissima
Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay on my 3-week work trip. The people in charge are kind and welcoming. I'm in debt with them since they helped me (I cam barely speak or understand italian) so much when I had to find a workshop to repair my broken tire.
Really well placed too on a sweet town near a stony beach. Capo d'orlando and Cefalu are just a short drive away.
ottima
Arrived late at night and was pleased to be greeted by name at reception and made to feel very welcome.
Room was comfortable with a sea view.
Breakfast excellent.
Warm family atmosphere helped form a positive impression of Sicilia.
Hotel Palazzo Fortunato is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location of downtown Sant'Agata di Militello, a seacoast town between Cefalu and Milazzo in Messina province. The hotel is convenient to the 16th century Castel Gallego and the new downtown piazza dedicated to famed Italian writer Vincenzo Consolo, who was born in Sant'Agata, and there are numerous restaurants and shops close by. Just down the hill (2 blocks) is the town's delightful lungomare (seawall) that stretches for more than a 1/2 mile. The seawall fronts the Tyrrhenian Sea coast and makes a beautiful walkway for residents and visitors to stroll in the evenings..A number of very good restaurants were also located on this main street. Our hotel room was well appointed, plenty of room and had a small balcony with sea views. The bathroom is also quite spacious with a large walk-in shower. Everything seems quite new. The morning buffet breakfast had both sweet and savory pastries, coffees and juices, cheeses, eggs and meats. Very nice setting. There are 4-5 steps to the elevator but easily managed. The owner and his family and all the staff were so gracious and helpful. They even drove us to meet a family member that lives several miles away. There is a full bar and lounge area off the reception room. Sant'Agata di Militello is the hometown of my grandparents. We were thrilled to meet several family members and our stay at Hotel Palazzo Fortunato was perfetto!! Grazie mille to our kind hosts Giuseppe, his wife and all the staff. When we return to Sant'Agata we will definitely stay here again.
Thank you Giuseppe and staff!!
We walked in and he generously showed us a suitable room for 2 adults and 2 children, after our other accommodation did not work out.
Just after the peak season, so Giuseppe offered us a great rate and flexibility with how many nights we needed.
The hotel is beautifully renovated and it's very classy in an older city area.
Rooms are large and breakfast and coffee great!!
Mille grazie
Roberto and Cinzia
Hotel refurbished in a contemporary style. Comfortable, well appointed rooms. We had a balcony with a partial view of the sea from ours. Had some initial difficulty finding the hotel due to the narrow streets and one way road system. Street parking was not a problem, however.
We stayed here 4 nights and the manager Giuseppe was so helpful and very kind. He always asked us if we need help and if he could do more. The rooms were very spacious, modern design and great amenities. The bed was comfortable, the wifi worked great, the shower always had warm water. Clean sheets and very thorough cleaning of the rooms. Free parking space always outside the hotel. Walking distance to bunch of restaurants on the boardwalk.
Would def stay here again if returned to this part of Sicily.
Very nice boutique hotel, contemporary within a lovely historical Palace of the town. The staff was very kind and open to meet our expectations. In particular the guy at reception together with the lady, I think they are the owners of the hotel.
Rooms were great, we got a beautiful two bedroom suite with lovely atmosphere and furnitures. The only problem we had was for the hot water at bathroom, it took more then 10 minutes to get it warm.
If you are visiting the area or the Nebrodi, this is a nice place for an overnight or more stay.
Hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly, area was great with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.
Friendly, clean, comfortable spacious room, good breakfast. very close to all restaurants, bank, etc. Hotel will arrange good taxi service. Good connections from local train station to Messina/Catania/Palermo.
We stayed for a single night, and after a slightly less-than-promising approach involving tiny cobbled streets, steep alleyways and multiple laps of the block we managed to pull up outside and drop the luggage, before dropping the car at the free parking on the beach front 100 metres away.
(Top tip - you can leave your car at the beach parking for free and it's really pretty close)
Anyway - the interior of the hotel is stunning, beautifully decorated, decent rooms and excellent facilities. Breakfast looked good although we had to grab and run to get an early ferry later that day. Helpful, friendly staff too.
Spent the night in Sant Agata and stayed in this hotel. What a delightful experience. The hotel is a modern update to an old palazzo and the renovation was first rate. The rooms are beautifully appointed and finished to a very high standard. The staff was gracious and very attentive to our needs. Incredibly reasonable rates for such a comfortable hotel. Free wifi and continental breakfast included. Well located in town - 2 blocks from the water and a block from the castello. I look forward to staying here again.
