Fabulous stay, will be returning!
Pros:

The Malvern was beautiful and felt relaxing as soon as you walked in the door, it was clean and elegant. The rooms were a good size and all the staff were super friendly and very helpful!

Cons:

There was only a couple of things I think would have made the stay better…there were no sockets by the beds to plug in devices and phones. Also, myself and friend found the beds very uncomfortable, when you suffer with back/hip problems the beds were far to hard, used to having memory foam at home that helps with this. Think older customers would find the same

Downtime with facial Apr 26
Pros:

Spa whole aay.
Top notch facial with the bonus of a head massage from Natalia, nice ambiance. ALL team members friendly and attentive to my every need.
Tasty salmon eggs benedict for lunch, decent coffee.
Value wise OK as had 45 min treatment, £15 for lunch and £10 off Elemis.
Pool was a little cooler than usual, as there was a fault.
Poolside inside very busy from 3pm, cool cloudier day. I'd always choose the a.m. if going for half a day.

Not the stay we were hoping for
Pros:

Pool is lovely. Very warm. Room was quiet. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Position of hotel on an industrial estate. This isn't clear on the description. Also if you are not there for a spa day there is no comfortable lounge bar to get a drink during the day. We had to wait for our room in the 'grand lounge' where we were the only people dressed in outdoor clothes. Everyone else was in robes and flip flops. My husband felt a bit uncomfortable. We could see people having pedicures and foot massages. Don't think it's clear in the description that this is a 'spa' hotel and not really for people to stay just for a visit to Malvern ( we were going to a show).
The availability of plug sockets in the room was dire. There was a double plug behind one bedside cabinet but the phone and lamp were plugged in there ( had to pull the phone out). The other side had one single socket which was unusable as it was for a round prong plug. Definitely room for improvement.

Would stay again because spa and pool great
Pros:

It was two years since we were here and we noted some improvements in the facilities around the pool and spa areas. It’s clear the hotel has invested in the property. The bedroom we had was refurbished and was tasteful in decor. Everything worked ! However still only small tv on the wall shame it wasn’t upgraded to a larger flat screen ….

Cons:

Since our last stay the menu got changed in the restaurant. Personally we felt the food choice somewhat strange not haute cuisine and not pub style somewhere in the middle and not quite there

Felt quality not there and was disappointed. Quite pricey too.

Pros:

Spa, room and breakfast good, staff very pleasant.

Cons:

Location, not what we expected, an industrial estate. This should be reflected within the hotel details so that the booker is fully informed.

Relaxing.
Pros:

The spa was incredible. Especially as it is heated. The food was lovely, lots of choice for lunch and dinner: the room was spacious and bed was really comfy. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Even though there was a window. The room was quite hot.
Some staff were a little unprofessional as I could hear their conversations. (Coffee bar)

Excellent stay, hospitable and friendly staff and amazing food!
Pros:

Was an amazing stay despite the weather! Spa was great and the food and drink was also of great quality. Not too far from the Malvern Hills and only a 5 minute walk or a one minute drive from a retail park, situated really well!

Cons:

Nothing, the stay was great even despite the weather!

Too many issues for such an expensive stay. Would not return
Pros:

Mixed experience for us

Pros - Very pleasant pool and inside and outdoors, the water was very warm and the staff were attentive. Massage was very good if expensive. Breakfast was good, didn't try the dinner as there seemed better value in the town. The gym looked comprehensive but we didn't try it.

Cons - The Spa flatters to deceive, it was quite crowded at times and there were no hot tub /Jacuzzis although there were areas in the external pool where there were jets. Its didn't consist of much else, treatment areas , and a chill room ( a dark area with beds !) . The foot spa was a joke ( 3 wash hand basins on the ground ). The steam rooms and saunas were far too hot and unpleasant. The Spa and hotel is basically in a retail park with a Premier Inn at the back and a Lidl at the front, so don't expect scenic olde world charm. The rooms are OK but didn't have enough plugs near the beds. Some areas of the spa are starting to age and show wear. What was bad IMO was that the lift had been out of action for a month and the notices said it would be OOO for 9 weeks which is quite unprecedented in my experience, meaning that people with walking difficulties ( not us ) were struggling with two flights of stairs. We had the experience as a present , but for the high average rate this was pretty poor value and we would not go back.

Lovely two night break
Pros:

Really relaxing and comfortable two night stay at Malvern spa hotel. We chose to eat at the restaurant both evenings enjoying the variety of the menu and friendly staff. The restaurant host Ollie stood out with his energy and enthusiasm towards ensuring we were happy. Also a special mention to Sarah the spa host who worked very hard with nothing too much trouble!
