The staff was very friendly, and attentive. .
The Malvern was a spa with rooms rather than a hotel. Not suitable for the tourist or travel weary, . The restaurant was mediocre, overpriced, limited menu and bland food. The rooms were certainly not executive, short on storage space and surface area and lacked adequate power points. The location wax also disappointing, in a industrial estate. Our concern was the
hospitality tray situatied in a cupboard, a fire hazard!
Staff very polite and helpful.
Bedroom too warm overnight. Air-conditioning noisy.
Evening meals, quality and service were very good; breakfasts were good but items on buffet were not replenished regularly enough
For a supposedly executive room, the bed was average size and the room was not large with very little shelf space for clothing, felt we were ripped off and would have had a similar or better room at a budget hotel (Premier Inn) fo half the price.
So clean and friendly
Nothing
Spa facilities excellent and staff really friendly and helpful especially within restaurant at breakfast. Rooms good size and in good condition.
Issue with shower throughout stay, could never get a hot shower even though basin tap hot! Final night the TV was stuck 'ON' and Remote would not respond. Had to go down to reception for assistance who could only help by telling me to reach over the top of the TV to find an 'ON/OFF' switch!
Location
Comfortable bed
Bathroom was grubby-coffee on tiles, dust on floor, damp/mould on paint work & build up of hair/dirt on door hinges-not enough attention to detail paid to cleaning as you would expect for price of room
Unable to use spa facilities as communication from staff about this was confusing -one sent us to the spa, spa staff directed us to the website which showed no availability, then no spa staff present to book with, information about opening times unclear
Close to everything, restaurant was great
Tea and coffee in room so old fashioned
Instant Coffee was very stale
Staff were so kind and helpful

The Malvern was beautiful and felt relaxing as soon as you walked in the door, it was clean and elegant. The rooms were a good size and all the staff were super friendly and very helpful!
There was only a couple of things I think would have made the stay better…there were no sockets by the beds to plug in devices and phones. Also, myself and friend found the beds very uncomfortable, when you suffer with back/hip problems the beds were far to hard, used to having memory foam at home that helps with this. Think older customers would find the same
So relaxing, staff are so friendly
Spa whole aay.
Top notch facial with the bonus of a head massage from Natalia, nice ambiance. ALL team members friendly and attentive to my every need.
Tasty salmon eggs benedict for lunch, decent coffee.
Value wise OK as had 45 min treatment, £15 for lunch and £10 off Elemis.
Pool was a little cooler than usual, as there was a fault.
Poolside inside very busy from 3pm, cool cloudier day. I'd always choose the a.m. if going for half a day.
Pool is lovely. Very warm. Room was quiet. Breakfast was good.
Position of hotel on an industrial estate. This isn't clear on the description. Also if you are not there for a spa day there is no comfortable lounge bar to get a drink during the day. We had to wait for our room in the 'grand lounge' where we were the only people dressed in outdoor clothes. Everyone else was in robes and flip flops. My husband felt a bit uncomfortable. We could see people having pedicures and foot massages. Don't think it's clear in the description that this is a 'spa' hotel and not really for people to stay just for a visit to Malvern ( we were going to a show).
The availability of plug sockets in the room was dire. There was a double plug behind one bedside cabinet but the phone and lamp were plugged in there ( had to pull the phone out). The other side had one single socket which was unusable as it was for a round prong plug. Definitely room for improvement.
Always amazing hospitality
Clean and friendly
Had to cancel lift not operational
Lift not werking
It was two years since we were here and we noted some improvements in the facilities around the pool and spa areas. It’s clear the hotel has invested in the property. The bedroom we had was refurbished and was tasteful in decor. Everything worked ! However still only small tv on the wall shame it wasn’t upgraded to a larger flat screen ….
Since our last stay the menu got changed in the restaurant. Personally we felt the food choice somewhat strange not haute cuisine and not pub style somewhere in the middle and not quite there
Felt quality not there and was disappointed. Quite pricey too.
