All of it lovely staff
Everything
Nothing
I didn't like it much at all.
I stayed there while visiting friends & thought a hotel with a pool would be nice. In fact I could have stayed at the Premier Inn at the back of this hotel and forgone the delights of the overpriced pool & steam/sauna suite with its collection of day pass members. I would say that it reminded me of a health club with rooms. The restaurant was poor and the chairs in the lounge area were uncomfortable and I cannot understand why a double room only has one chair in it - I guess you are not meant to spend any time in your room unless you are lounging on your bed. The rooms were basic and beds were also uncomfortable. The staff were on the whole focused on handling the constant stream of demanding day members rather than paying hotel guests although some staff such as those in the bar really did work hard when given a challenge well done to them.
The breakfast
Nothing it was great
Spa was lovely, staff was helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy, plenty of tea coffee, shampoo and conditioner.
Rooms are a little dated, could do with a bigger tv, and more plug sockets, and the hairdryers in the rooms need upgrading. Manager did tell me there was better hairdryers in the changing rooms which I did go down and use.
Food at breakfast could do with covering up, a few customers mentioned flies around the ham and cheese. And there was always a queue for the toaster. Internet/signal was an issue for a few of us
Seems to if ticked all our boxes really enjoyed our stay.
The smell of marijuana in the corridor just before our room .
Did disappear on the Sunday /Monday though.
The outdoor pool

The staff we encountered during our stay in both the hotel and spa were all so lovely and helpful. The spa and pool were decently sized and didn’t feel too busy at any point during our visit. Our room was spacious with tea & coffee facilities provided. Small issue during breakfast but this was rectified swiftly by staff so no complaints here!
Air conditioning didn’t go very low in our room so it was a little hot overnight even with the window open.
