friendliness of the staff
Evening meal
The whole space & spa was stunning, spacious & generally beautiful. The staff were absolutely amazing & could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
There wasn’t anything aside from when we went for late night walks, requires a night staff to allow us entry again so felt maybe a key card to gain access would be better however this is minor as we loved our stay so much.
Clean room and communal areas. Loved the pool and the pod. The Spa was very clean.
Some parts looked a bit old.
Beautiful location, decor and styling are wonderful.
Very clean, tidy with a relaxing atmosphere.
The staff were all friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Fabulous food served at the restaurant and priced well.
Wonderful spa facilities, four clean and tidy sauna/steam rooms to choose from and a stunning indoor/outdoor pool, especially in the evening.
Unfortunately it wasn’t the staff, food or facilities that slightly let down our stay but some of the other guests!
Very entitled, miserable and just downright rude especially to the staff.
Love the Malvern
Again a brilliant place to stay, can’t fault anything really, slight issue with the air con in our room , was sorted while we where out, excellent
Nothing
Staff were amazing smiling helpful
Lift was still broken and that's was six months ago we last visited BUT our large case was carried all the way up for us - thank you
Breakfast was a little slow coming out and the muffins were a little tough and the coffee was awful
Nicer coffee, lighting in the bedroom wasn’t make up friendly , the Vietnamese Waitress in the restaurant for the evening meal was really good, the shin of beef was too salty and needed some green veg. Pool staff were fab and pool was lovely. Check in was a little long winded and we got there for 12 to enjoy facilities before check in at 3 and there was a point where they told us we weren’t able to use the facilities until after 3, which wouldn’t have been good, managed to persuade them to let us in which was a little daft
Helpful, very spa led.
People at breakfast in dressing gowns.
Too spa led and didn't advertise this, the hotel is an add on the spa is more like a sports centre, busy with locals, restaurant and bar are in the same area as the treatment room. Very uncomfortable if not going for spa day but wanting the option.
The spa facilities, the food and professionalism of all the staff was at a high level. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. Car parking facility was great too.
My husband and I found the bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable causing us both to have a very poor sleep and bad backs. This was such a shame as every other aspect of the stay was perfect.
We recently had an overnight stay at our favourite Spa. There were unfortunately, a few negative things on this particular stay over.
Our room was cold on arrival, we tried to sort the heating out but couldn't fathom out the controls, I phoned reception and they said heatings on a timer but unfortunately the towel rail didn't come on at all.
In the spa reception are 2 ladies toilets which smelt of urine, when I lifted the toilet lids they were stained a horrible yellow, which can only be old urine!
One last negative was our massages we had, again the rooms were unfortunately cold making it hard to relax. I had Millie for my massage which was mainly good except she kept catching me with her nails.
