great location, service needs improvement
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel during a city break in Gdańsk, and the main advantage is undeniably the location. It is right in the center of the city, which makes everything easily accessible on foot.

This is truly the hotel’s strongest point.

Unfortunately, our experience had several disappointing aspects.

We arrived around 11 PM, the room initially seemed clean. However, at a closer look, multiple hairs on the sheets, clearly from different people. The bedding looked arranged and superficially clean, yet this was quite unpleasant. We politely informed reception the same evening, mentioning that we understood it was late and were not asking for an immediate room change, but kindly requested that the bed linen be replaced the next day.

Cons:

The following day, the beds were simply remade with the same linen (we recognized specific stains in the exact same spots). That was disappointing, especially after we had clearly raised the issue.

Breakfast was included in our rate, at approximately 15 EUR per person per day. In our opinion, this is quite expensive for what was offered. The food quality was decent, but the variety was limited and did not justify the price. Basically for 15 EUR per person you can easily have breakfast elsewhere.

The bathroom indicated that cleaning is done “every other day,” but on the third day no one entered the room at all. No cleaning, no towel replacement, even though we left the hanger on the door for service.

On our last morning (Monday), there were clearly few guests left with breakfast included (we noticed this on the staff's list). The buffet was significantly reduced, from two full tables of food to only one. What we found particularly disappointing was that the natural apple and orange juice (which we had tasted on previous days and knew its flavor) was visibly diluted with water. This was noticeable and honestly quite unpleasant. If supply is limited, it would be better to offer less rather than dilute products.

Finally, at checkout we were asked to pay the city tax separately, although we clearly remember that our Booking confirmation stated that the city tax was included. It is not a major financial issue, but it creates unnecessary confusion and discomfort.

In summary, while the location is excellent, the cleanliness inconsistencies, breakfast value, reduced service quality, and billing confusion significantly affected our overall experience.

Pros:
