A fabulous hidden away gem of a place
Pros:

The location, the staff friendlyness, very clean and comfortable room and great food in the restaurant.

Cons:

the only issue we had was the bed which was on the small size and was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that we were delighted with everything else

Enjoyable stay in a wonderful area.
Pros:

Staff are very friendly and make their guests feel welcome. They do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Food was outstandingly good. Bar area was cozy and friendly.

Cons:

I’d booked a sea view room in particular however due to a mix up I was put in a garden view room which was smaller and without the view I wished for. Unfortunately the staff were unable to move me into the room I had booked due to other guests being in there.
Once I discussed this with the staff they were very apologetic and offered me my evening meal at no charge by way of compensation. I was pleased to accept this and had a very enjoyable stay. I will definitely return to The Gazelle but would ensure that a sea view room is available.
I would also politely suggest that some areas could be cleaned more thoroughly in order to match the standards expected of such a lovely hotel.

Pros:

The view is amazing looking towards Bangor and a perfect view of Menai Bridge

Cons:

General cleanliness was poor. Filthy stairs, bathroom floor. Cold room, radiators needed bleeding. Staff very casual some with uniform others just loitering.

The whole hospitality experience was excellent. Good standard of accommodation/food and company.

Cons:

Noisy toilet system everytime somebody flushes the toilet. Private/function room was very noisy below.
Poor service on restaurant waited half an hour before our order was taken so an hour wait before eating which ended up being to late 9pm

Location was gorgeous
Pros:

Lovely location and nice relaxed feel. The downstairs facilities were well decorated and felt cosy making the most of the incredible view

Cons:

The rooms were a bit shabby and the walls need to be cleaned/ painted. There was a tv stand on the wall not in use and it felt a bit old/ tired. The noise from other bathrooms was very loud, but the rooms were otherwise quiet
