The cleanliness and freshness of the room. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The views from the hotel are really scenic.
Everything was superb
Comfortable spacious rooms in a beautiful coastal location. Top quality meal on the night we arrived and good choice of local produce for breakfast

The food was wonderful. The location was great for exploring Anglesey and the mainland was within easy reach for exploring further afield. The view from the bar and dining room was tremendous. All the staff were good too; friendly, approachable, very helpful.. Anything you asked for the answer was always, " of course, yes."
The bed was comfortable and the ensuite was lovely all looked brand new; the shower was excellent.
We had a room on the back which looked out of to a steep planted banking. The rooms on the front had beautiful views of the Menai Straits with mountains of Snowdonia behind so next time we visit we would request one of those rooms.
The bedroom was quite small and there was an open hanging rack for clothes but only two hangers although lots of hooks on the door to the ensuite but no hooks in the ensuite. Nowhere to store luggage and it wasn't possible to unpack much at all but we managed for three nights. The light switches for the ceiling light and the bedside light were awkwardly behind the headboard so when you leaned back you inadvertently switched the lights off.

Breakfast was good but area was understaffed. Location is attractive.
Limited parking space. Bathroom was very basic, hot water in wash basin did not work.
Had a one night stop at this place, lovely location overlooking Menai Strait, very good value for money, nice and friendly staff, we also used the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast the following day, both where excellent, if we are ever in the area again I would have no hesitation about stopping here again.
I found the mattress a bit soft for my liking but it’s only a very small moan.

Too secluded wasn’t what we were expecting in the middle of nowhere only one had to get a taxi to nearest place nothing within walking distance

In a great location with lovely view towards Bangor and the mountains. The meal in restaurant was excellent and they had good choice of gluten-free options which was great for me, The breakfast was also delicious.
