Clean relaxing city hotel. Excellent stay.
Pros:

Great location near the station for transfer to airport. Near old city. Great nearby restaurants. Excellent clean rooms and good breakfast.

Handy for train and bus station
Pros:

Helpful staff. Good location close to train station. Room clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast.
Very good shower.

Cons:

Very noisy woman in room next door kept us awake late with loud shouting on phone. At about midnight I banged on the wall and she shut up.
Room could be more cheerful. Clean but very bland.
Hated coffee machine in dining room. Coffee very poor.

The room was very clean. In general, hotels in Spain are always well maintained in my experience, and this one was no exception. We also arrived quite early, which was great after traveling, and we were allowed to check in immediately and use the room. That was really appreciated.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the welcome at reception was disappointing. The man at the desk was not friendly and didn’t explain anything about the hotel. We were only given one key card, and the interaction made it uncomfortable to even ask for a second one.

The biggest issue was the room itself. It had no window, which felt awful. The room was warm and stuffy the entire time because there was no fresh air. On top of that, our room was located right next to the stairwell, so we could hear people going up and down the stairs at all hours.

I love Spain and visit the country often. I will definitely return to Málaga, but I would not stay at this hotel again and wouldn’t recommend it.
