Kurztrip nach Oberwiesenthal
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr, sehr schön. Sehr freundliches Personal, schönes, sauberes Zimmer und das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht, aber wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Frühstückszeiten am Wochenende bis 11:30 Uhr einfach klasse.

Charme vergangener Jahrzehnte, ein bisschen Ostflair weht durch die Räume, Wellness-Angebot zu wenig
Pros:

wunderbare Lage direkt unterhalb der Skihänge (wenn denn Schnee gelegen hätte); ausreichend großes komfortables Zimmer mit dem Einrichtungsstil vergangener Jahrzehnte; dafür ein sehr reichliches Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen gelassen hat
Die Bar hat länger am Abend geöffnet und bietet eine ausreichende Anzahl an Getränken.

Cons:

ausgiebige Werbung mit Wellness, Sauna und Pool; diese sind nur bis 21 Uhr geöffnet, danach gibts auch im Adults Only keine Sauna mehr. Wenn man erst am Abend anreist und noch etwas essen oder ausruhen will, wird das Angebot sinnlos. Strikte Trennung der Handtücher zwischen Zimmer und Wellnessbereich, lieber soll man mit klatschnassen Handtüchern aufs Zimmer gehen anstelle mit trockenen aus dem Saunabereich (man passt genau auf!)

Ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen
Cons:

Die Dusche in der Badewanne war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Brausekopf müsste ausgetauscht werden. Wir sind zum duschen in den Poolbereich gegangen.

Pros:

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly—10/10 !!!!They were very kind, helpful, and dedicated, and clearly knew their stuff. The rooms are clean. The hotel’s location is excellent, with nice views and proximity to the ski slopes; you can walk in with your ski boots on, plus there’s a heated ski room where you can store your gear and change clothes.
A big plus is the beautiful spa with a well-maintained, clean, modern.

Cons:

Parking is an additional charge. The rooms need to be renovated. Some of the furniture is broken. We booked a room with a balcony on the top floor, but we were given a room at the end of the hallway with only one window. The room was the last one in the hallway. You can also hear the elevator noise in this room. It’s worth noting that it doesn’t have a balcony; the staff offered to switch our room—thank you for your help—but the hotel wasn’t fully booked. In other situations, it’s worth keeping in mind that some rooms don’t have a balcony. This information should be provided before arrival and check-in.

Pros:

Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal, schöner Spa-Bereich, mit neuem grossen Schwimmbecken, gute Lage mit tollem Ausblick,
die Möglichkeit, sich auf dem Zimmer Kaffee (Kapselmaschine) und Tee zu machen find ich sehr angenehm.
Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen und ist bis 11.00 möglich
Nette Aufmerksamkeit zum Geburtstag

Cons:

Parkgebühr ziemlich hoch, das Essen im Restaurant war enttäuschend (ich fühlte mich Mal schnell dazwischen geschoben, quasi als Störfaktor für die Versorgung der Halbpensionsgäste)

Es hat uns gut gefallen. Personal war freundlich. Zimmer war gut, Frühstück ausreichend und Abendessen hat auch geschmeckt.

Cons:

Das leider wohl durch zu wenig Personal die Tische nicht abgeräumt wurden. Mussten an einem unaufgeräumten Tisch unser Abendessen essen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Nettes Personal.
Das Schwimmbad ist modern und sauber.

Cons:

Parkplatz kostet extra. Zimmer sehr alt und teilweise kaputte Möbel. Duscharmatur undicht. Zimmer muffig. Frühstück wurde oft nur auf Nachfrage nachgefüllt. Auch der Innensaunabereich ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht.
Im Vergleich mit anderen 4 Sterne Hotels war das Zimmer, sowie das Essen für den Preis eine absolute Enttäuschung.

Entspannung pur, ohne Kindergeschrei
Pros:

Entspannung in den vielen Saunen + Pool und ganz ohne Kindergeschrei. Am Pool gab es Schwimmnudeln, Wasserbälle, Schwimmbrett usw., überall lagen frische Handtücher bereit. In der Sauna gab es Tee und einen Wasserautomat, Spinte und Schließfächer standen bereit, einfach perfekt. Sehr leckeres Frühstück in einem separatem Restaurant zusammen mit unserem Hund. Das war wirklich 1A-Service. Vielen Dank dafür.

Cons:

Die Hundegebühr war mit 20 Euro pro Nacht ziemlich hoch, gleiches gilt für die Parkplatzgebühr pro Nacht im Freien mit 14 Euro.
