One of the worst places I have stayed unfortunately nothing like the pictures

When we booked the room the images shown on bookings .com were nothing like the room we stayed in. Also there was a very unpleasant smell we had to dettol spray the room a few times. Really dated interior just very low standard. Tile in shower room was moving. Also there was no toilet in the room we had to use toilet in corridor which was not convenient at all they only told us about this once we had booked and got a message telling us this unfortunately personally I won’t be using this hotel again very disappointed very dated never spoke a word of English but when came to asking for extra payment they translated very well

Pros:

Le cadre, la tranquillité, le jardin et la façon dont il est entretenu. Le petit déjeuner dans le jardin est plutôt agréable.

Cons:

Nous n’avons pas dormi les 2 premières nuits en raison de la chaleur sans aucun équipement: ni clim ni ventilateur. Pour le prix payé, un effort aurait pu être fait pour s’adapter aux conditions climatiques et rendre le séjour moins pénible.
L’accueil pourrait être plus chaleureux et engageant, nous avions parfois l’impression de déranger pour une simple demandé de renseignement.

Lovely location, the pool and breakfast area were great. Staff were very friendly and were happy to help. They kindly stored our baby food in their fridge as there are no fridges in the rooms.

Cons:

Our room looked different to the ones advertised, it was much smaller than we thought. Although this isn’t a problem I thought it was worth mentioning. It was also very hot, no air con was a problem, we had a temperature egg for our baby and the room never went below 28 degrees with the windows and door open all afternoon and night. We stayed out later and put our baby to sleep in the pram on the balcony. It was manageable but air con would have made it much easier.

A really pleasant stay.

Die Hotelanlage mit Pool und der Vegetation. Frühstück mit frischen Obst und Orangensaft, Käse, Aufschnitt u.a.
Parkplätze kostenlos vorhanden.

Cons:

Vom Charmezimmrr hatten wir andere Vorstellungen. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig u. a. mit getrennten WC, aber im Erdgeschoss auch dunkel.

Un hotel au charme doux et au confort parfait
Pros:

- The welcoming of the kind blond lady. Always smiling and always with a kind word for the kids. She gave us great advice as well. The manager was also great and friendly.
- The absolute charm of the old houses part of the hotel, with great decoration. We felt like in an old movie!
- Our kids loved the swimming pool as it was clean and with a good size.
- The breakfast buffet was soooo yummy and generous and even included macarons!
- The quality/cost! We booked last minute and it was the only affordable hotel on ile de Re.

Cons:

Everything was perfect. The only suggestion would be to include portable mini fans near the viennoiseries to scare away the flies (Most of the food was covered so no issues :)
