An amazing outlook from our room, tasty breakfast and friendly staff.
The staff were very helpful in organizing my onward journey. I stayed an extra night at the hotel. The location was perfect, away from the busy Mall and Ridge but within walking distance to both.
My first room was a bit chilly despite the heater.
Fantastic location in the hills but not too far to walk into the hustle and bustle of this charming diverse spectaular town.
We had a cold dated room which they swapped for an updated and slightly warmer room.
The staff were helpful and courteous.
Good food and great evening meals which you can eat in your room which we enjoyed.
The views from our room could not have been better.
One small electric heater was not sufficient for a large room and bathroom when nighttime temperatures were reaching 3 degrees.
May I suggest better heaters ? 3kw or higher.
Parking is a big problem and for parking they charged from me

Nice clean room with great view and shower. Room well heated for spring visit. Friendly staff. Good food ...chicken burger for husband and great stuffed capsicum and naan for me.
Nice walk down through trees to the Mall Road. But we did get lost on walk back up hill to hotel. We missed signpost so recommend keeping alert
Wonderful location. Close to Mall road and the Ridge. View from the Honeymoon suite was out of this world. Good breakfast for the price. More popular with Indian tourists than westerners
Hygiëne was ok, just. Very hard bed. Fixtures and furnishings quite dated. But then it is a 3 star hotel
The staff went out of there way to make sure our stay in Shimla was the best. When they brought us to our room and noticed the space heater was not providing enough heat, they brought in another heater. The view from the room is amazing.

Shimla is lovely albeit steep climbs in places.
Very comfortable hotel. Lovely views from the bedroom. Comfortable bed with electric blanket and a good heater. Friendly and helpful staff and on site restaurant. Beer available!
Close to the cable car.
As mentioned in previous reviews, it's a steep climb to hotel as cars not allowed to the hotel albeit the hotel porters are great.
Shimla is by it's nature hilly so that may be an issue for less mobile people.
The restaurant is a little chilly.
