The location - close proximity to shopping malls and F&B.
Front desk staff was pleasant and very customer friendly - a must for any service orientated industry. Attend to my complaint and within 5 minutes, it was sorted out.
Getting transport like Grab is easy.
Room's view was not city view as stated in Booking.com. When I raised the blind, all I could see was the window of the adjacent room. Felt robbed. Room was damn small, lucky we only had 2 small bags. Bathroom - shower area had not shower curtain, so if you take your shower the whole bathroom is wet. Not well thought of here. Washbasin was clogged and the maintenance staff fixed it within 5 minutes. Saw baby cockroaches in the bathroom.
Room lights was so dim that if you're there doing your work, be prepared to suffer staring at your laptop screen.
Breakfast was nothing to shout about for the money I paid for. The mixed veg was salty and took a cup of coffee but sadly that was not coffee - more like herbal drink. Good to have labels to be more informative.
The reason I stayed here was to see the facilities up front as in May my team is coming for a tournament and will be staying at this hotel. So, Have spoken to the staff at the front desk and to make sure that all rooms has an actual window with city view and shower curtains in the bathrooms.

I stayed at Amaris Hotel Thamrin City and the location is very strategic, right next to Thamrin City and close to Tanah Abang. Very convenient for shopping and finding food.
The room is simple but comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was fast. Breakfast is basic but okay.
Overall, I’m satisfied. Suitable for a short trip and shopping stay.
Room is quite small, especially for big luggage. The air conditioning was not very cold.
