Goldfinch Retreat Bangalore

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel although isolated is very comfortable, the rooms spacious and food very nice. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the ‘grubbiness’ of the restaurant staff. I guess the shirts must have been white at some point but most looked unwashed, with dirty trousers and shoes. For me there is no excuse for this. The housekeeping staff were very well dressed and there is a laundry available which we used, and our clothes came back immaculate.

What I didn't like was that their Pool couldn't provide an enjoyable experience. People are gathered and eating near swimming pool.
Bar area is also near the pool. So there is no privacy.
Pool could be enjoyed by kids but not by adults.

Stayed at the property for 3 nights on a work trip. There was an afternoon party that went into late evening with music blasting through the whole hotel. At 10pm i called the reception to turn down the music and i was told 10:30 is the quiet time so I waited - called back the reception at 10:45 and was told sir 5-10 more minutes. Called back at 11pm and same thing. I had a flight to catch at 4am and i couldn't sleep until midnight. Horrible Horrible support and action taken by the night manger. I will never return to this property ever again

Great place to stay close to the airport

Interesting. The check in was very slow, but i believe that was due to a parade of people walking by. Our driver had to wait for them to pass. Must have been thousands of them. Our room was quiet, but our children had very noisy neighbors at 4 a.m. Called the front desk and rec'd no help.
The restaurant, Cosmos, was very good.

this hotel is ok, front desk staff don't know to much about the areas, was misinformed regarding a tour, buffet breakfast ok not to much of selections, door person are very nice, waiters at the bar are very nice, drivers or the transportation they use for guest, they driver very fast I will not book this hotel again

Excellent for short holidays, Sushmita , Tapas and others at the reception were very helpful and great in services. Thanks to all the staff. Would definitely come back for another stay.

Very good value. Everything is new and it was clean. The staff was great. Only feedback was a lack of response to messages prior to booking but besides that we had a great experience overall.

The property is very nice.

The hotel was beautifully manicured and professionally maintained. Their included morning buffet was excellent as well as the lunch and dinner at a very reasonable cost. It was very easy to get transportation services, also, using their own drivers. Room service was very prompt, and the staff made me feel that they were genuinely happy to see me.

Is everything perfect? No. Wi-fi was poor, and there were short-term electrical outages during the day (like, lasting only seconds at a time), which may have nothing to do with the establishment. Cellular service was decent and allowed for compensation for the WiFi at times.

I considered these issues very minor, especially considering the price. I was so well taken care of in this hotel located on a guarded, large property, which included homes. "Retreat" is a great descriptor to include for this very clean accommodation.

During the three nights I stayed, they hosed a number of large groups as well, so this seems to be a desired location for wedding celebrations and large gatherings. If I had brought a bathing suit, I probably would have borne the embarrassment of wearing one to enjoy their amazing-looking swimming pool, too.

Neat and clean. However, the bathroom was a bit dated. They advertise a lot of things around disinfection of rooms, which they don't actually do.

Very convenient to the airport - and very comfortable beds!

I would not recommend this hotel if you plan to stay close to airport. its 15 min from airport and no Uber or Ola cab will come to pick you up...you will have to book a taxi from the hotel that will cost you Rs. 1000/- which should actually cost Rs. 150 in an uber.
The hotel is also have a feel like a motel and over priced...
