Delmon Hotel Apartments

It's an apart hotel, so we have a room with a bathroom and a kitchen. The room is quite big with a big and comfortable bed and a small balcony. There is also a wardrobe, two bedside tables, a chair, a glass coffee table, a shelf and a flatscreen tv. The room is rather decent but the kitchen and the bathroom need some refreshing. There is a small fridge and a microwave in the kitchen. The room isn't cleaned while our 5-days stay! We pay OMR 89,166, that is US$232.
Breakfast is dull and monotonous but you can eat something. You don't leave the diner hungry.
The internet is good. There is a swimming pool on toproof but water is cold. The staff is nice and kind.
The hotel is within a bus ride to Ruwi where you can take a bus to other destinations. The bus stop is nearby.

It was not that great, room not so clean, in the bathroom always water was leaking here and there. Dark inside the lobby, building is old. Price for this stay could be way cheaper. It just served the purpose of being close to our location where we had event. Staff is good, but no enthusiasm. And no view from the window, also window was dirty.

Good hotel clean & quiet but so far from scenery places in muscat .

The hotel is on really good location with enough parking space. Check in process was quick, but I got a feeling the receptionist didn't speak english well. The room itself was quite small but still comfortable and overall clean. Breakfast was a bit disappointment, it could be better.

This hotel is in Wadi Al Kabeer, & is one minute walk from a bus stop, which suited us as we took the bus everywhere during a weeks stay. The hotel itself is nice, we had the 2 bedroom apartment with water bottles in the fridge & tea facilities. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The room isn't serviced everyday, but when I saw the house keeping staff or their trolley I either took what I needed, or used their door hanger sign to refresh my room.
We didn't use the rooftop pool, although it's small but the views are great.

The massive supermarket "Lulu" is across the road, but it's a major road with very fast traffic so ask someone about the underpass to get across. It means you'll walk an extra 10-15 minutes, but it's much safer.

Special mention to Julie at reception during the morning, always delightful & very helpful in advising us with our questions and day to day planning, although all staff are great & very helpful.
Breakfast will give you a selection of about 8-10 items which are different each day. We had a really nice stay at this apartment hotel, suited us very well. The bus system made most of Muscat accessible to us on a budget, as taxis everywhere can cost a bit.

My 3rd hotel hopping ...the hotel was okey all i need is enough for my short stay.It is clean and having an accomodating receptionist who is of my own native.Easy access to mutrah ,al Bustan al Qantab , shangrila al Jissah and spa .Smell of room was okey and the bed is soft and clean.Breakfast its okey don't expect much .Everything suffice my needs.i stayed before in this hotel if i love to visit near mutrahh and ruwi i always stay in this hotel.

Very good loaction and easily accessible to the city. Its is a budget hotel with breakfast. Standard rooms are quit comforable for tw0 porsonsThe rooms are clean and good. Room services are also excellent.

amazing choice if you decide to visit this fascinating city. staff is very nice and helpful, not far from the main souq. Ask for Faisal, he will be the best guide you can get in the City. clean rooms, ncie atmosphere. very recommended

Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice little touches to make our stay very enjoyable.Comfortable bed .tea Facility in room .Brand new room (construction recently ) . We were both very tired and didn't want to travel out of the hotel much so this haven was much appreciated.

Location is perfect is easily accessible to the city.
Its in budget for a night stay with breakfast included. The rooms are clean and tidy with bottle of water been provided.
They have provided nice amenities.

The hotel's location is perfect.. it's in Muscat city, close to albuststan palace hotel, Marina Bandar Raudha, Matrah Souq and Cornish, Sultan Qaboos port, Sultan Qaboos Palace and most of the museums..
The hotel is in a quiet place where you relax your mind after day trips and tours..
The food is amazing ( thanks to their very skilled chef).
All rooms are spacious and clean, and the stuff are professional and very helpful.

Overall it was a good experience. Hotel in-charge was new in the profession and he has no clue for Oman and muscat, when you visit a new place you expect hotel to guide you in terms of places to visit, what to see what not to visit based on visitor area of interest.

In terms housekeeping or other things since its value category accommodation. We cant expect more than what we get.

The hotel is located in a nice locality. Our drive to hotel was really nice. The city around it is not too modern and has a traditional feeling in its surroundings. The hotel lobby was nice but rooms were ok. The AC was leaking a bit but I slept on the other side of the bed so it wasn't a great deal for me. Cold water was not available in the washroom of my friend's room but it was fixed after calling maintenance. Breakfast was nice.

Excellent place to explore the Muscat area and the region south of Muscat (only 10-15 minutes to several dive centres). Staff was friendly and helpful. Easily to access with car and good parking options. Rooms at the western side of the hotel are very quite at night. We stayed two times in the hotel and our rooms were always clean.
We had issues with mosquitos. Water may flood the bathroom while taking a shower. The fish tanks are too small for the large animals inside!

We arrive early in the morning and have a long day trip. Upon arrival in the hotel, The receptionist, Mr. Sikandar was very helpful and very hospitable. He is an asset to the hotel. Ms. Toni was very friendly she is the waitress in the breakfast buffet. We have a fantastic stay at Delmon.

I literally had the oldest room in the world. Carpet was gross, shower curtain fell as I was taking a shower, and bed was rock hard. Reaked of smoke despite non-smoking. However, I knew I was not staying at the InterCon, so I was not under any illusion. My main focus was a place I could shower, sleep and had A/C...which this place checked every box. Staff friendly! For the price I paid, especially during the National Day holiday month, I am not upset. If all you need is a place to sleep and store your junk, this is a good pick.

I normally stay in this location when spending a couple of days in Muscat, as other reviewers say, its budget and you get what you pay for, just expect a bed, AC, shower and a place to park your car. Communication with the staff is a little fun sometimes but this is Muscat, so enjoy and relax. The pace of life is slower there.
