Outstanding view of the Adriatic Sea from a perched position, beautiful decor, fantastic breakfast with very attentive staff, comfortable beds and linen. The pool has fun large bean bag loungers, which form to your body to allow you to easily slip into relaxation mode. We had some delicious meals with linen and crystal service. You can use there "sister hotel" beach side loungers making it feel like you have access to two hotels.
Nothing.
Magnificent view and setting with great facilities including pools and spa.
We were warmly welcomed on arrival and really well looked after during our stay.
Great private beach just two minutes drive with sun loungers and umbrellas.

Amazing sea view
As an Interior Decorator I rated the interiors. What a pity that was all I liked about this hotel.
We asked for ground floor rooms because of Mrs Oxley's mobility. We were given first floor rooms and had to change rooms. Waiters could not speak English. He did not understand that I had asked for rare lamb. It arrived very overcooked. There were no umbrellas up at the pool. No service or bar or toilet at the pool. The hot tub was broken and full of insects. The Solarium opened at mid-day which is too late. The beach is 4km from the hotel which is not evident on the website.
We were restricted with transfers into the town. We then decided to get our own taxi but Reception refused to help us. Unless you have your own mode of transport you are completely isolated. We received no apology from anyone when we ran out of toilet paper in our rooms. I have stayed in 5 * hotels around the world the service here is extremely poor.
The scrambled egg was over cooked. Bacon not crisp, When it rained the Health & Safety factor was treacherous as were the steps. Rope bannisters should be installed on the steps to prevent falls.
Beautiful views, great restaurant. Wish we had a day or two more.
Decoration and style is simply wonderful, authentic . Congrats !
However the room was not comfortable enough… rather small , not enough place / furniture to store your belongings. We spend 3 nights camping in the room , not really feeling relaxed
We were guests at the wedding organised in this hotel. Great location for a weddng - the atmosphere and space, ensure good time and beautiful photos afterwards. The event was well-organised. The food at the wedding was delicious!
Breakfast is a-la cart. Everything was tasty. The room cosmetics was of good quality. The room was upgraded to the next price level without a charge. There is a spa - but we did not have time to use it.
The personell is not really helpful. We had very tough times with them trying to get prepared for the wedding: they do not have an iron to provide and the ironing service should be ordered 1 day in advance. It's absolutely unexceptable that the hotel is hosting a wedding and is not prepared to the situations when guests will need to iron the outfits after road when they are packed and definitely need some treatment. The personell was rude and not trying to help saying they can do nothing and that an iron is not allowed due to safety reasons as we can put the hotel on fire. Well, it's obviously that they have never heard of steamer... And it's a 5-star hotel!
At the restaurant they mix orders, waiters are super slow, and you have to wait for ages. You need to pay separately for the ice. The water was included in the bill though we never received it.
The room - well, you will like it maybe if you are a fan of antiques... But we could not really enjoy old brocken furniture, rust in the shower, uncomfortable shower watering can, the shower itself is super small. The door lock was giving us hard times to open it.
We can name much more minuses - we definitely can't say it's a 5-star hotel.
Breakfast was very good.
The room lacked natural light; the air conditioning leaked water over the floor although it was promptly fixed. no teaspoon to make tea or coffee. It was remote and whilst the old town of Vieste was nice, there is little to see or do. The coastal drive is not that great and at each look out the litter was appalling.
