The location is great. Very central yet quiet. Rooms were clean.

Cons:

Our room looked nothing like the pictures on the internet. We learned that each room is differently decorated so we were not in one of the more engaging rooms obviously. But in the end one just sleeps there so it doesn’t matter.

A little hard to find with a taxi. Better to call hotel for transfer or directions.

Tolles Hotel, wunderbare Gastfreundschaft!
Pros:

Wunderschönes Hotel an toller, zentraler Lage. Schöner Style! Schlicht, aber es hat alles, was es braucht. Sehr bequemes Bett, geräumiges Zimmer, genügend Stauraum.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!
Außergewöhnlich war auch der äusserst freundliche Empfang und Check out!
In dieses Hotel werde ich beim nächsten Besuch in Zürich bestimmt zurückkehren.

Doesn’t match the pictures but nice nevertheless
Pros:

The biggest disappointment about this hotel is that what we saw do not match the photos online. The reception area is so basic I wondered if we were in the wrong hotel - in fact I asked if it was indeed the right hotel. To be honest, it’s not a bad hotel at all and just fine. We might even stay there again now that we know what to expect, but it was a real let down visually compared to the online photos on its website and other advertising material. It’s clean, modernized inside and staff are friendly and helpful.

La posizione di hotel era perfetta, in centro della città, la camera era molto confortevole e pulita, il personale era molto gentile, sono rimasta molto contenta del mio breve soggiorno. Grazie mille a tutti. Decisamente consigliato.

Eiskalte Böden/ Keine Hausschuhe im Zimmer
Ohne Oropax nicht zu empfehlen. Die Tram rattert ab morgens ca 5:00.

Pros:

Die Lage war sehr zentral. Kurze Fusswege zum Zentrum und auch z.B. zum Volkshaus.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch unsere Anfrage beim Check-In für ein Zusatzbett war problemlos möglich, vielen Dank dafür!
Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder im Helvetia buchen!

Cons:

Einziger Nachteil war, dass das Hotel über keine eigenen Parkplätze verfügt.
Für das Parkhaus "City Parking" gab es einen 25% Coupon.
