Avoid.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and very attentive.

Cons:

The hotel was tired and dated. The room was extremely hot with no fan provided. Bed was almost non existent mattress far to thin/old. Didn't get a good sleep due to this. The shower was good with power and hot temperature if needed. TV too small to even see and no basics in the room.

Ideal location for a relaxing break
Pros:

Lovely stay in Royal George Hotel, a warm welcome from very helpful friendly staff. Delicious breakfast in the perfect location overlooking river. All staff were exceptional.

Cons:

Lots of stair climbing with luggage. The room was very hot. Very Noisy extractor fan in the bathroom

A fine hotel in a lovely old building in theGood food, great views,
Pros:

Our room was larger and better furnished than in many more expensive hotels. The corner location gave us fine views of the River Tay. Breakfast was very good - I asked for porridge, which was then freshly prepared and served.

Cons:

There is only parking for 15 cars. This is a minor inconvenience, but there is plenty of local parking available (for a price).

Pros:

The staff were very welcoming

Cons:

We had very little sleep, our bathroom radiator was red hot and we couldn’t turn it off. We were given keys to another room at 2.45 am, it was much more comfortable but by then it was hard to settle down again
