Hotel am Ledermuseum

I arrived at the hotel around 13:30. The hotel door was closed. I called the hotel number. The hotel employee who answered the phone said they would open it at 17.00, being extremely rude and unsympathetic. Although it says on the internet that they will be open until 14.00, the hotel is closed and they did not help me. It's freezing cold outside and I had to use the bathroom. So I was stuck in the street. I called again to cancel my reservation, this time they never answered the phone. I sent a message to the hotel to cancel my reservation and I could not stay in this hotel. Despite all this, they took the full price of the accommodation from me. I was totally scammed. I suggested going to another hotel nearby and leaving my luggage. They were very helpful and I stayed at that hotel. Then I went to the Ledermuseum hotel and asked in good faith for a refund. It was truly terrible. The inside of the hotel is dirty, the employees are rude and there is no elevator in the hotel. Despite all these warnings, if you want to stay in this hotel, I recommend you to be careful.

No fridge and no lift.
Entry to parking is not free and need to be a good driver to enter parking.

La recepción del hotel cierra a las 13 los sábados, por lo que es infactible dejar el equipaje. En la habitación no está la clave de wifi y como la recepción también cierra temprano tampoco pude conseguirla.

Sehr freundliches Personal, zugewandt und hilfsbereit. Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und alles funktionierte, einschließlich Duschkopf ;-) Die Zimmer zur Strassenseite sind preiswert, dafür etws lauter..Alles in allem; völlig ok für den Preis!

Im Winter Hotelzimmer war nicht vorgeheizt, sehr kalt.
Internet langsam und Einwahl war schwierig.

War ok zimmer sind veraltet in der Dusche teile verrostet und Frühstück war garnicht gut wenig auswahl

Offenburg ist eine schöne Vorortsstadt von Frankfurt

Wir sind öfters im Hotel. Aber diesmal überlegen wir ob es letztmals war.
Hotel total leer obwohl nichts mehr frei sein sollte, laut diverse Anbieter.
Dafür blieb die Küche kalt, denn es gab kein Frühstück. Man musste sich sein Essen selber fangen und das am frühen Morgen ohne Kaffee.

Originally, I booked online via Hotels.com for 4 nights, but I stayed there for only 2 nights because the receptionist asked me to pay by cash. It was quite strange that according to the receptionist, their machine was not accepting both my credit cards (AMEX and Master Card). I was then stressed being out of cash and asked my wife back in the Philippines to send me cash. Luckily, while chatting with a co-participant in a scientific meeting, I was informed that a nearby hotel (Lowen Hotel, strongly recommended) where he was staying costs only 55 Euros/night including a free buffet breakfast. Attracted with a cheaper price (15 Euros cheaper than Ledermuseum) and the free breakfast, I inquired at Lowen Hotel and enjoyed my stay there. They also accepted my AMEX credit card.

Det var helt greit rom når man kun skal sove der, og er borte resten av tiden. Frokosten var god. men det var veldig lite å finne på i nærområdet på kveldstid.
Sengene var veldig gode.
et minus at det ikke var heis om man har noe fysiske problemer.

Nettes einfaches Hotel ,sauber und nettes Personal , guter Parkplatz.Frühstück war auch gut.Würden wir wieder nehmen.

Stort rom, gammelt bad. Hyggelig betjening. Parkering i bakgården mot betaling av 5€ .

The people working there were very nice and helpful with carrying our luggage up the stairs. Rooms were nice and they had drinks for us to welcome us when we got there. Not bad for the price they were charging.
