Highly recommended by friends & they were 100% right. Fantastic location with a relaxed casual atmosphere. Literally steps away from Santa Barbara train station. My room was very comfortable & adequately sized with I had everything I needed. And you get free flow of coffee & tea throughout the day. Check in process was expedient - you get a text with a link that allows you to pre-check in while on your way & by the time you arrive, all you need to do is pick up your room card (with ID check) & you’re done. Definitely not a budget hotel but hey, you get what you pay for. Reception staff were all young, friendly & helpful. Perfect location with plenty of F&B options all within 5minutes walk. And a short stroll to the beach & Stearns Wharf.

Staff was really friendly and the hotel was clean. However, our room was a bit small, the train ran right next to the room aroun 7:30am, and we were placed in a handicap room without requesting it. Additionally, valet parking was $45 which is pretty high.
Great amentities, location and overall cleanliness
Amazing location and beyond thoughtful, helpful and kind staff. The valet and front desk during our stay seemed to go out of there way to help us and make us feel welcome. Although it seemed like they were just doing their jobs to us it meant so much!

The rooms are miniscule. The value for money is atrocious - I cant believe I paid luxury prices for a room so tiny that I couldn't walk around the foot of the bed because there wasn't enough room. It was extremely uncomfortable. The room had no closet but also no space to even have a carryon suitcase without completely boxing yourself in. I have never stayed in such a small room, let alone paid a premium price for it.
Nice reception area and decor.
No hot water on two occasions during our stay. The hotel gave us free parking as a compensation. No bar or restaurant. Noisy location when the bins are emptied next door at 5.00am.
Cozy room with private patio was perfect for the season. Bathroom compact with european style fixtures. The property was very clean and tidy. It was an easy walk from the train station. The staff was helpful and friendly, very professional. I expected to hear more noise from the trains, but it was surprisingly tranquil considering the proximity to both freight rail and travel rail roads.
