Pros:

The location is perfect - just opposite the light rail stop - and a walk to Coogee Beach.

Cons:

The courtyard room was very noisy at all hours.

Pros:

Location was perfect. It wasn’t hard to find and it had access to places to eat and get groceries.

Cons:

It was small and tight, I expected more room to move around. The beds mattresses could be more comfortable.

Amazing - close to hospital, shops, Royal pub, and great staff
Pros:

Staff are so approachable, nearby to Prince of Wales Hospital.

Cons:

Front rooms are noisy but this is not the hotels fault.

Lots of noise from traffic
Pros:

Location. Clean.

Cons:

Terrible noise from the traffic. Everytime a car went past the window frame rattled and there was a loud bang everytime a car hit what sounded to be a metal man hole cover. For a hotel of this quality you expect much better.

You could have made the ambience more presentable for example buds I literally saw torn towles in the bathroom and always keep small water bottles in the room

Nice hotel but lacks staff to respond to guests or emergencies

Cons:

Communications with the staff were non existent. They didn’t answer the phone number provided on Booking.com during reception hours. It was only when I went to the hotel that there was a phone number that I could call.
Difficult to find the room.
Hotel doesn’t comply with Essential Services requirements. No Fire Plan. No room exit plans. No handrails on some stairs. Not sure how they would manage an after hour emergency when there is no staff on site and the hotel number is not answering. I rang properly 20 time. Glad it wasn’t an emergency

Beautiful room in a perfect Randwick location.
Pros:

The Lurline is perfectly located in the heart of Randwick very close to the light rail and shops in a beautiful heritage building. The rooms are very nicely decorated in a modern/classic style and very clean. The reception team members were friendly and helpful. I plan to stay again on my next visit to Randwick.

Cons:

There is an unavoidable level of road noise given the location of the hotel on the 5 way intersection. It doesn’t bother me but may bother others who are sensitive to noise.
The bathrooms are very small but this is standard in this style of accommodation in Randwick.
