Pros:

Amazing location and we had a parking space at the hotel which was so helpful

Nice location
Pros:

Good location, quite clean and nice property, staff and service.

Cons:

Our room was difficult to ventilate, the fan on the aircon wouldn't stay on and our TV wasnt a smart tv so we couldn't use any streaming aps

Disappointing! We have stayed at the Lurline many times for medical appointments due to its proximity to POW Hospital. I
Pros:

Location is fabulous.

Cons:

The single bed in our room was a foldout not a proper bed and it was broken and this was known to staff when they put it in there! When my daughter sat on the bed with a cup of tea the bed collapsed and she was burnt with the tea. My daughter had to sleep on the mattress on the floor. The sheets on this bed, whilst appearing to have been washed had a sticky substance on them. Photos attached.
Also, whilst using the low quality iron provided in the room, it tripped out the power so we had to call the out of hours number for someone to come and restore the power.

I wound certainly stay at the Lurline again
Pros:

Location was excellent. Rooms were clean, comfortable. Staff was helpful, pleasant.

Cons:

Laundry room hours were not convenient (although the fact that laundry was free was quite nice). Dryer didn’t work very well.

Decent hotels with all basic needs for a few nights , Lurline traffic noise an issue though at least for many of the roo
Pros:

The staff were very helpful (see below) before and during my stay
It has good transport and is a low rise older building
It has an iron and a shared kitchen plus kettle and teabags in room

Cons:

The Lurline has alot of traffic noise as it is at the junction of several busy roads and near hospital. Even with earplugs there was traffic that woke me at 5ish. However the helpful staff moved me to their other place nearby, the Blenheim hotel. This was much quieter . But in the Blenheim there wasn’t any hot water in the morning
for my shower , and weirdly there was no bedside table in either side of the bed or any plug sockets . (The skirting boards and wardrobe tops could also do with a dust from time to time. )

A/c very weak, hot water takes enormously long time to come through, cockroaches in my room, flickering overhead light, steep narrow step stairs only partial handrail.
