Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club

Room was vey clean as was the bathroom Shower very easy to use, Overall very comfortable and quiet.
One very good service was the FREE water dispensers on each floor jug in room provided for filling great idea for cutting down on plastic bottles very well done Slieve Russell

I went on a bank holiday weekend and the staff were amazing! There were lots of staff that were calm and accommodating to our needs (one just needed a wheelchair which they provided for use in the hotel). The food was very good for all our meals. Also, the singers in the bar were excellent in the evening. My only complaint was that the changing rooms at the gym/pool were quite smelly!

As a disabled traveler the hotel is easy to navigate. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

All was very good but no proper shampoo and conditioner in the rooms. I requested a rope for going to the spa but didn’t arrive on time. Should have been in the room.

Tradesmen not tidying up after themselves found a screw on the carpet which cleaners should have been around after they were finished.
Found a broken glass under a radiator in the club house. Cleaners need to be advised to look everywhere when cleaning.

No bananas on display at breakfast.

Everything else was Excellent. Loved the food in the evenings and bar. Setanta was closed on our visit.

Staff were great and building looked great. Look the new look of the interior.

We stayed quite close to Christmas so the hotel was quiet which we loved. The staff were impeccable. Constantly asking if you needed anything without being intrusive. Would highly recommend

Wonderful stay at the Slieve Russell. This hotel delivers on all fronts, service, comfort, food, amenities. Simply a brilliant place to unwind and relax.

Enjoyed the staff who were most helpful at all times in the reception and dining areas. The road works outside the hotel was a horrible experience as we had to drive on narrow country roads for almost an hour from the main roads. Local people were so helpful when we got lost on a couple of occasions.

This is an excellent place to relax and unwind, everything is so calm and welcoming with very pleasant and helpful staff.Live music in the bar at the weekend and fantastic food in one of the restaurants,golf,pool etc what else way to spend a weekend

Staff were faultless-very nice. But the bar food wasn't great. Well below par for a place like this. I didn't pay for my meal because it was far from a Carbonara. Just tasted like a catering mix- it certainly wasn't freshly made. Breakfast was better.
The bed in our room was very rickety, so we had to sleep in seperate beds in the end (when one of us rolled over, it woke the other up).
No air con/ climate control in the room despite a control panel for it!?
