Location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast!
the overall appearance was outdated , a bit run down feel and dingy feel. For the nighly cost per night( up to $450) and it being a Holiday inn I was a bit disappointed by that.
Access to tons of restaurants and close to interstate 65 but no road noise.
Could use a refresh of paint and carpet.
Breakfast
Mattress had a dead bed bug. We didn't notice until we were packing up leaving out. Showed it to the housekeeping and front desk rep but they did not do anything about it.
Room was clean, spacious and well maintained. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best ones we’ve run into.
Pool was unavailable until 6 pm on the day of our arrival and since we weren’t staying long this time we couldn’t use it at all. It was a hot day and it would have been so nice to cool off in the pool.

The construction was pretty annoying. Our shower also wasn’t working properly.

The shower did not drain well at all and the people above us had little kids that ran around until after 11 pm like elephants.
