la déco, le confort, le calme
The front staff was wonderful.
It’s a lovely place to stay except the toilet paper is terrible. It is like using tissue paper.
Little to no control of the hot and cold water. The water was scalding it was hard to adjust to a comfortable temperature.
Very lovely hotel. Rooms were very nice and quiet and staff was extremely personable.
Nothing to report here.
it was nice had a kitchen even stylish
incredible loft style room. one of the nicest hotel rooms i can think of.
Very nice and fresh
The restaurant and bar aren’t open every day. The sauna is near the wellness area but could be more than just that room.
A Beautiful Stay with Style and Exceptional Service
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Box House Hotel, and it was truly a standout experience from start to finish.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The design perfectly blends industrial charm with modern elegance, creating a space that feels both stylish and welcoming. My room was stunning. Spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with high ceilings and chic details that made it feel more like a luxury loft than a standard hotel room. It was the perfect place to unwind after a full day in the city.
What truly made the stay exceptional, though, was the staff, they were incredibly kind and sweet in every single interaction. From their warm greetings each day to the thoughtful “How’s your stay going?” check-ins, they made me feel genuinely cared for. Their positivity and attentiveness set the tone for each morning, and it honestly couldn’t have been better.
The restaurant experience could use some attention. The service and food have the potential to elevate the property into a full-service destination, but it felt like the management of that space doesn’t fully recognize how accommodating and guest-focused it could be. The difference in service culture between the hotel team and the restaurant was noticeable.
Overall, the beauty of the property and the exceptional hospitality from the front desk team make this a place I would absolutely return. Great design makes a hotel memorable, but genuine hospitality makes it unforgettable and this team absolutely delivers. I can’t wait to come back.
The hotel has quite a cool decor. Perhaps a little bit favouring style over practicality. Greenpoint is a very cool area of New York and staff were friendly.
The credit card authorisation was a little confusing and took a long time to be cleared from my account after checkout. The rooms are quirky so require a bit of getting used to.
Great location and value for the money. Just a short walk to the subway and 3 stops later we were in Manhattan
The staff was supreme! Incredibly helpful, caring, and super welcoming.
Nothing.
everything
This hotel is amazing. Ray at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. You really feel at home the moment you arrive. Each room has its own unique design, which makes the stay even more memorable. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Greenpoint.
