Great place. Expensive for our budget; but then this is NYC!
Pros:

Loved the proximity to the park along the river, and the NYC ferry. Great local restaurants (check out Chiko, small excellent Chinese). Breakfast buffet very good and in a nice setting.

Cons:

The room, and bed, was smaller than i expected, but the latter was my mistake as learned i did reserve a "queen" but wanted a king. For a fee, we were moved to a larger room which was lovely.

The property was beautiful and unique. The room was chic yet cozy and we are looking forward to staying here again.

The cleanliness and no response ruined my trip
Pros:

Breakfast.

Cons:

Room was not clean upon arrival. We asked and were promised 3x to get it cleaned and it was not taken care of. Front desk staff were nice but did not follow through on requests. Also the bar and music is very loud until 12 am on a Sunday night.
