Unique super location
Pros:

Een mooie ruime kamer met een mooi uitzicht. Tijdens de hittegolf wat lastiger overdag koel te krijgen. Zeer aangename lokale buurr, rustig, werkende mensen, wat leuke restaurants .. en goede verbindingen met Brooklyn en met Manhattan.

Cons:

De voorzieningen in de keuken, kwaliteit van de badkamer maar ok genoeg

Good staff, well designed place that’s not top tier but fine in a pinch.
Pros:

Easy luggage unloading and parking is helpful since convenient for cars, but location is just fair as it’s not terribly attractive. Nearby restaurants and attractions not great either. Need to make reservations in advance for decent walkable meals for sure. Well designed rooms and public areas. but daylight through large windows and small balcony with a long view, meant the room was attractive, roomy enough and well designed, except for the issues as noted here and by others too as negatives. This used to be a surprisingly smart and roomy option for Greenpoint. It’s lost its shine but is still a decent, if less polished, generous feeling hotel. That said, lovely, helpful front desk staff open 24 hrs.

Cons:

Room supplies are pretty tacky and lacking any amenities, coffee machine but no espresso maker for example, an inexpensive, easy modernization. Agree w/other reviewers re: unnecessarily unthinking lack of quality such as cheap toilet paper, one set of towels and easily sipping, wet single bath mat instead of two put out for a couple, harsh lighting. Bare bones for the price and the shower, which is open to the rest of the bathroom so gets the whole floor wet which is very annoying, (and slippery!). Very loud A/C makes it difficult it keep on or regulate during hot city summer nights.

A good location and comfortable stay, marred by slight inconveniences.
Pros:

The location and the cleanliness of the room were great. The bed was very comfortable. The promised city view was ok, but felt a less less than what was advertised.

Cons:

I had requested an early check in, but never heard back from the hotel. When I got there, they charged me $75 for the early check in. Had they told me ahead of time it would have cost extra, I would have just planned to arrive later. The only other issue was the elevator / certain spaces were extremely hot. I think it may have been due to the heatwave, but it seemed odd those spots were extremely hot in the hotel. The elevators also went down at one point, and after a very long day in the heat, not the best to have to walk 3 flights of stairs after a long day.
