We offer a Light Breakfast ‘to-go’, consisting of porridge oats or breakfast bar, a pastry, fruit, yogurt and juice. This is available upon request and on £4 per person orders accepted till 9pm.

We also offer a cooked breakfast on weekends (times and days of availability may vary) for an additional fee of only £7.00 per adult and £5.00 per child.

If guests require an early or late check-in, before 14:00 or after 22:00, there is an additional charge of GBP 20.

All guests must contact the hotel immediately and make any necessary requests, depending on availability.

The last check-in is at 22:00. If a late check-in is required the guest must contact The Highfield in advance.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Rundown hotel. Wouldn't stop again.
Pros:

Nothing really.

Cons:

Run down appearance. Stained carpets and upholstery. Very poor shower. Only two small sachets of cheap shower gel. Door exit's green light very bright and lit up room all night. Strange smells in the room and around the hotel.

Pros:

This worked perfectly for a family occasion. Large room, and the pub nextdoor was good for barfood. Nice breakfast (extra but very reasonable charge).

Cons:

Mattress was a bit soft for me, but still slept well.

I didn't sleep at all and left early
Cons:

No security, anyone could have entered the hotel, the toilet seat was a completely different shape to the bowl, the room decor was very dated, the pillows & duvet were flat/tired, the hotel was noisy...I wrote a letter of complaint and I'm still waiting to hear back from them.
