Golden Time Hostel

This small hotel is owned by a very wonderful Vietnamese woman who works very hard to provide a good, clean room and excellent service.

I would highly recommend staying here, especially as the rates are quite affordable, the room I stayed in was large and it is close to many attractions.

My room was large and the bed was very comfy. The AC worked well. Also, you can walk to the Lake of the Returned Sword from here easily as well as other tourist attractions like St. Joseph's Cathedral, the Fine Arts Museum, The Women's Museum etc.

So this is an excellent hotel, run by a VERY good person and it is close to a lot of the places you might want to go to (including a Starbucks and McDonalds if you need some American/Western stuff). But you'll have many quality Vietnamese cafes and restaurants to choose from in this area.

The property was beyond disgusting with not only bad odor but the room was not also sanitized properly. We came and left right away. They didn’t help us to clean or switch to another room at all. When we asked for the refund, they refused. It was such a horrible experience.

The picture that they show are old dated, I don’t like to complain but nothing worked, the hair dryer didn’t work, the tv didn’t work and the bedsheets weren’t clean. The hostel is close the to the lake and central area.

The lady on the front desk (she did everything) was such a. Sweetie.
The only reason I give 4 stars is the bed. It was hard, but I did sleep ok most nights. I am not a young backpacker and I am used to very comfy beds (from Canada).
Otherwise, totally recommend this! Was very walkable.

Easy to go, Good and friendly reception, quieter than another zone but some area in this room is dirty and have many plug but it can use only one.

I wouldn’t recommend it.

방은 원하시는 컨디션이 아닐 수 있으나
위치와 크기를 고려하면 가격대비 좋은 곳 같습니다
그리고 주인 아주머니가 굉장히 친절하세요
어머니 같이 챙겨 주십니다
고려하셔야 할 점은 조식 없고 그렇게 깨끗하지는 않습니다
저희가 일상적으로 사는 방 정도 컨디션이에요

본인은 남자이며 배낭여행객으로 이용함
저렴하기는 엄청 저렴함
눈에 띄게 더럽지 않음 그렇다고 더러운건 아님
청결도 괜춘함 거리도 매우 괜춘한데
주말에 열리는 행사때문인지 거리에 차들이 매우 시끄러움
오토바이 큰 차들 소리가 매우 심해 잠을 못잠
직원이랑 말 몇 마디 나누지는 못했지만 친절함

Staff was really nice but it was a little pricey for what it was. Breakfast was ok, room was ok. Our "king bed" was 2 dbl beds pushed together so it hurt to lay in the middle. Shower was in the middle of the batheopm so everything got wet when u showered.
