Great location right off the highway, very clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was very good.
Wanted to report the refrigerator in 325 wasn’t working. Otherwise everything was great.

Stayed 5 nights at the Deer Lake Horizon Hotel, using Deer Lake as a base to visit Gros Morne and the surrounding area. Had to eat out for dinner as no evening meal was provided. Limited options to eat out in Deer Lake. Room was a good size with a separate seating area and a small sink, microwave and fridge. Bathroom was a good size. Rooms were clean and room service was good.
One of the two lifts was out of order for 3 of the 5 days we were there. A little inconvenient! Also we had to ask reception to reactivate our door key card on two consecutive days as the card was only activated for a 1 night stay even though we had booked for 5 nights!!
Liked that there was a pool, hot tub and water slide.
The curtains didn’t close so light shone into our room all night

A good hotel in a town meant for airport connections. No evening food options in house and only fast food in town but okay.
